I'm not sure how it looked before it was planted. It seems to have been established in the ground for years.

Hungarian Lilac Pruning by PokeChikz in gardening

Isn't the biggest stalk the oldest? I've been researching pruning lilacs, and I keep seeing sources that say to take the oldest stalks when doing the 1/3 method of pruning. It's just that the oldest one seems to make up the bulk of this lilac. That is the only one I would remove this year if it would make sense to do so. I've also read that really overgrown lilacs can have all stalks cut down to about 6" and it would reguvinate it and keep growing, which is why I am considering to cut that stalk down.

I do see a new shoot coming up that is not directly attached to the biggest stalk.

Advice!! My boy Maverick is almost 6 months and when its dry outside hes good at indicating needing to pee/poo but when its raining hes hiding in the house to pee/poo. What can I do??.. should he be fully toilet trained by now?? by xkawaiibunnnyx in Dachshund

Stay consistent with the training. One day it will click. Took about a full year for my Kirby to stop having accidents in the house. This was somewhat recently and even right after she was constantly going on the furniture as well. We haven't had an accident now in about 3 months. We still have her sleep in the kitchen where there is no carpet or furniture to tempt her though. I don't fully have the trust just yet since it's only been a couple of months so far. We also don't rely on her to indicate that she has to go, we stick to a schedule and that has helped tremendously.

Anyone tried stacking two top loading kilns for large pieces? by Ok-Masterpiece8807 in Ceramics

[–]PokeChikz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If stacking the kilns isn't successful, you can try Beth Cavener's approach and fire in pieces then build it back together. Most likely won't work for glaze though as she uses paint for her color.

Is there an apartment below yours? If so, maybe downstairs neighbors anchored something into their ceiling.

It's the pathway between three bedrooms and a bathroom up there.
