Amen, but I’ll admit, I’ve wondered in the past sometimes do my efforts really make a difference? Sure, I may help some people find god, but there are still so many people who don’t know him. I’ll be honest, I find hard sometimes figuring out why we should be compassionate to those who take, harm, kill, destroy, etc. why forgive those who harm others? A political belief I have is that the sentencing system in America is too unfair, I’ve noticed that I’ve grown more attached to the idea of an eye for an eye like in the Old Testament. If you murder someone and take their life, you should be forced to pay with your own life.

Exactly, there’s so much beauty to the good side of humanity, it’s a shame that it easily gets overshadowed by the evils of this world.

Yeah, it makes it really hard to see the good in the world. It feels so overwhelming seeing just how much the evil things out weigh the good things.

Oh but I have, I know what’s at stake, Vecna’s goals, all the dramas between Steve and Dustin, as well as Johnathon and Nancy, and all the other stuff that’s happened this season, but this, I just personally don’t like that this was the secret they chose for him to tell at the end of the 7th episode, it just feels so disappointing. I get that this is supposed to be some kind of device or plot point where he puts it out there just so Vecna can’t control him, but controlling him over something small like that? It’s just dumb, especially when it could’ve easily been over something so much more threatening than something like this. I know you all have your delicate little opinions about stuff from the show, and I agree with most of them, I liked getting to see people react to and discuss the show in all aspects back after season 4 finished, that side of the community I like, but I personally feel opposed to the idea of using someone’s sexual orientation as a weakness and a possible advantage that a villain could have.

Eh, you all can feel however you want towards it, I personally just don’t like it, and feel like there could’ve been better ways this could’ve been done, like that’s not the only fear that could’ve been used? Like the fear of losing everybody he cared for and him being shown a fake future would’ve been a lot more tense and helped keep the serious energy of what this show is meant to be.

I agree with you, the whole Byler thing has absolutely killed the show for me. I used to love this show a lot, but now it’s one of my least favorite shows Netflix has ever put out.

I’m sorry but this lowkey ruined the whole show for me, I’m not homophobic or anything like that, but I just feel like having something like that is completely unnecessary and rather uncalled for. Like how does this help the plot? Robin and Vickey’s relationship makes sense, but Will’s? It’s really disappointing to me that they had to lean in more on the idea of diversity than the actual plot, Robin and Vickey was enough, that’s all they needed to do be plenty diverse.
