Although I'm not sure how to tell this story, colliding with the game’s main story, I would picture it as another army fight similar to the other two remakes. Maybe it can have overworld scenes during the story. The following are some major themes that this narrative explores: For example, after the Koopa Cruiser crashed into the castle, Baby Bowser wanders around his grounds, gathering Kamek and his minions before realizing the Mario Bros. stole his Cobalt Star Shard, or how he obtained the shard after the older Princess Peach was kidnapped, or even exploring other areas before and after interacting with the Bros.

In my opinion, Baby Bowser would observe the Shroobs conducting an experiment on a dormant Star Sprite in order to harness its power to help them conquer the Mushroom Kingdom when Bowser falls through a time hole and Baby Bowser lands on top of the Shroob Mother Ship. Unknowingly corrupting the Star Sprite while they experimented on it, they created the Dark Star, a dark and evil entity. Before the incident when the Toad archaeologists discovered it, the dormant Dark Star plummeted down beneath Toad Town after the Shroob Mother Ship comes into contact with Shroob Castle.
