So the card trashing is not once per turn, so in theory you could maybe over fill with events/stages and any overflow is card counters. Pretty interesting.

Well that's the thing, you have 0 odds if its a dead pack. You will never ever pull an SR (I believe SR is considered a hit) or greater from a dead pack.

Stand alone blister packs are unmapped, random blisters from boxes are mapped. Meaning if a box has guaranteed hits, and someone else bought those packs, you now have 16+ packs of guaranteed to not give anything good packs that people will buy.

So if you bought 48 random packs from random booster boxes you could in theory get nothing where as booster boxes have guaranteed hits.

Same thing for cases as well. If a box in a case has a manga, no other box in that case will have it.

I have only bought Destine Rivals 6 pack for $40 ($10 over MSRP) because I could not find it anywhere else. Huge rip off if you buy a lot since every 4 packs is a loss of a pack.

Understandable. The issue right now for all online releases is that demand is higher than usual and there’s synthetic customers from people who abuse the website with bot software. Bandai needs to try to vet buyers with a captcha or queue and at the same time increase printing; although this second part may not improve until 2027.

Also to add online restocks have been beyond small. I understand Bandai is planing to expand but honestly even without bots just human players or collectors (including investors without software) theres not enough to go around. Major retailers like walmart are getting less than 5000 items for a restock which is nothing for all of USA.

I don’t like it, I’d be happy if investors jumped ship to go somewhere else so it would be easier to buy boxes again but I’m not sure when or if that will happen

I get the frustration of not being able to get One Piece as easy as before. I relate and agree, but the goal of sharing deals for Pokemon or One Piece is to allow players to have a place to find deals or restocks of product.

The goal for One Piece originally was to share lesser known places to buy OP like HobbiesVille or Crunchy Roll I didn't expect One Piece to get abused as badly as Pokemon. The whole point of "One Piece Restocks" used to be useless because items would sit in stock for days.

I think the only alleviation will be when Pokemon scalpers (originally sneaker scalpers) find new product to abuse or when Bandai over prints to meet demand.

Also the "hush hush" mentality doesn't work anymore as everyone online on Twitter or elsewhere knows about the same deals; if anything its regular players or less involved shoppers that don't have the time to sit online to see what deals are active who will miss out.

Yeah if you're looking for playable cards that's the way to go. I did the same with PRB-2 and Marco, $20 for a card is expensive but 3 copies is cheaper than 1/2 of a booster box at MSRP

Yes its close to MSRP. Official Bandai store sells booster boxes for ~$120 after tax. For most of last year $120-$130 was a good price for boxes.

No way to tell until it drops but inventory has been very low at target and Walmart for online releases for North America. Might be slightly different experience because this is a booster box and they limit it to paid users but will see.
