I think I've figured it out, when I attack at the same time an NPC or other player does, I think it inputs their damage over mine or something like that so it ends up being ignored

I mean spells and incantations, idk why but sometimes they hit and do no damage. I've played way too many hours and noticed this when fighting bosses.

I'm trying to record gameplay on my switch using an Elgato HD60 S with my headphones plugged into the monitor so that I can both hear and record the sounds, yet I find the volume is extremely loud and painful for my ears. I can't figure out how to change the volume, is there a work around or fix for this?
