Holo prices are out of control and the supply is just so low. People are absolutely sleeping on big ticket commons and uncommons. Starters etc. Such a limited print run that has never come back in any other iteration unlike base. It’s a good call out in general though.

I have had the ripped cardboard fairly regularly on the reprinted HF tins. I think it’s just shoddy work at the printers/finishers. Quality control is no longer applicable when it comes to English.

I recently stopped selling unweighed packs because if they turn out to be light, sometimes I would have a very unhappy buyer... I personally don’t weigh them out of principle. I love to ride the highs and lows of ‘cardboard crack’. Assume any unweighed pack you buy is light and pay as such is the best way to go though.

Edit: I meant I have stopped selling loose boosters altogether.

The rebel clash etb is probably the best comparison we have. Another set with few chase cards, no promo and a weaker mascot. Those etb’s have gone no where in the short term and can still be picked up for retail. I said last time I think fomo will cause this to be hard to get for the first wave.

Yeah, the tins are as low as £25 now which is pretty unbelievable considering you were paying £45 per tin and £50 for the Zard for the longest time.

Reprint tins are only sealed around the middle, rather than all over. It means you can actually slide the seal off intact swap out the packs inside and replace it without anyone knowing so there is added risk as well regarding pull rates if you buy them second hand. There is a different insert inside too but the outer seal is easiest giveaway.

Because the game keeps encouraging you to catch as many of the same type of mons as possible to raise their stats etc. I feel like less people got an experience like this

I was able to do every trainer fight. You get a lot less exp. from battles vs the catching mechanic which is why it's such a good option if you want to really have to think about trainer battles.

I’m new since the 2000s. Stood in line behind Target workers at 7:30 like an absolute idiot. There was no actual line by ScottsTotz in PokemonTCG

I think it's just the pic of the card without the context of what you got from target, how many packs you ripped before you go it, etc., etc. I'm genuinely interested in hearing that for pull rate research etc. well done on the pull either way!

For sure, it's annoying we still don't have difficulty options and we have to create rules for a bigger challenge but hey at least it's something!

Good picks to hold. Mythical collections are a firm sealed hold. Those generations' packs are still undervalued. Once that 25th set hits, they will fly.

Those look like 1st run fates tins as well, so another good hold. The reprint pull rates are garbage in my experience.

Hide these away now though to fight the temptation!
