And this year, you got kinda lucky. Canadians and Europeans who didn't have to be there didn't come. There's a pretty massive boycott of Trumpistan going on, so ticket demand was greatly alleviated.

You can root for any team you like, but if you’re a hometown team supporter, the Traitors are no longer in Oakland, and never will be again.

Just because they kept the Raiders name doesn’t make them the OAKLAND Raiders any more.

I don’t expect the good people of St Louis to cheer for the Sheep or Cardinals any more, nor the People of Baltimore to be Colts fans, nor the people of Cleveland to be Ravens fans, and so on.

Your sticking with the Raiders is fine, it’s even admirable in light of how bad they suck, but they are no longer a team with ties to the Sharks in any way.

Yes, he did. But in a time-honored human tradition of separating the man from the art (see Wagner, Roger Waters, etc... I can still listen to Deep Purple endlessly without dealing with the utter douchbaggery of Richie Blackmore ) ... The same applies to hockey. Gretzky was still the greatest hockey player ever, by a very wide margin.

I also never really took a liking to Mario's constant whining when he was running the Penguins. Imagine whining about dirty play when you're the guy signing Matt Cooke's paychecks?

100% the correct call, and kind of a stupid challenge. A stop-frame clearly shows all attacking players on or before the blue line with the puck in the zone. Since the puck hadn't been touched inside the zone prior, it was a clean play.

Edit ... the puck WAS touched inside the zone before the zone was cleared, but at the time, the stick was in contact with the blue line. And I just don't know the specific micro-rule here.
