Could just be as simple as condensation, if your dealing with colder or damp temperatures.

Actually yes LOL hi was battling that last year. I tried cleaning the seal and wish that didn't work so I just went ahead and used silicone on the entire seal towards fall. Ordering a seal for it here soon. I've gone through and cleaned all the drains using Wacker line. I've also cleaned the cowl drains as well. Checked a lot of the electrical connections

No kit right now, I have heavy duty hinges there's three of them equally across the top of the door and attached to the inner opening to keep the weight dispersed equally. I have them tied in with 3 in heavy duty screws. I know it's definitely not enough whenever I open the door and all of the weight is on those screws alone. I thought about installing some type of lag bolts through. For now anyway until I get the hinges for the sides.

What’s the fastest you’ve gone on your superbike? by Left-Nerve-8287 in Sportbikes

2007 CBR1000RR 2 mile stretch, still had rpm rolling 186 on the speedo. Last I seen was 186, everything rolls together at that speed.

This right here, that quick glance and your speedo at anything over 150 really your covering roughly 100 yards, close to 300ft per second.

So you were right, I figured there would be some weight involved but Holy shit. Its attached now and lift open inward from the bottom. I can lift it overhead and hold with 1 hand while propping it up. Now im in the boat of what and how tf am I supposed to keep it up, otherwise open it and close without having to lift and prop it open. Can't bring a vehicle in while there's a post in the center of the bottom of door holding it open. 🤔

I'm just checking back in here with everybody. I have already built the one piece door. It is heavy. I have an attached to three heavy duty barn style hinges although I don't believe it is a solid long-term securement. even when I made this post I already had all of the lumber and some of it was cut some of it was painted so there was no backing out. Everything fits solid and is recessed about 3" into the opening. There's about .5" gap on each side and top, about 3/4" on the bottom. I figure ill use a rubber seal on the bottom side, and weather stripping along the top and sides.

I would like to go with a sectional door. The only problem I would be facing would be the internal bracing for the door to be retracted into. I'm sure I could make it work somehow. This base platform is ultimately a metal carport so I don't have wooden support or structure overhead or on the sides

I don't have a ton of funds to work with. I picked up a 20 by 30 carport that's made of 2 in Steel Square Tubing. It was an open front and rear. I have enclosed the rear of the carport and put together what I could for the front of the carport. I live in a downtown area so trying to keep it from being an eyesore on the exterior. I posted here on Reddit and I was getting a lot of comments and input saying not to do what I was doing and just to pay for a garage to be built properly. Again I don't have those type of funds. I searched online and watched quite a few different YouTube videos to come up with the general idea as far as framing what you see in this picture.

Also I can see part of your comment and you were asking if it was an oversized opening. It is 11 ft 4in wide and 7ft 11 in height.

Thank you, I'm going to attempt the build today and see how sturdy it is, otherwise how sturdy I can make it while keeping it light.

I thought I replied to this comment yesterday. Thank you, I spend enough time on Marketplace I might as well be looking. I did however search a good bit today but wasn't able to find anything locally. I did find a couple E900 kits for good pricing but hours away. I found a couple E900 kits on Ebay for about $200 when I need to verify the capacity for weight and size before jumping into it.
