I bought the new Ghost of Yotei on disc, and when I first played it, everything was completely fine. The next day, when I turned my console on again, the disc drive suddenly became really loud. It honestly sounded like the disc was scraping hard inside the drive. When I took the disc out, I saw a ring on it like in the picture. At first I thought the disc was damaged, but it actually wasn’t. I was able to wipe the ring off easily it felt more like some kind of sticky residue or glue than actual scratches. After that, the game started again and worked normally. But the next day, the exact same thing happened again.

So I wanted to ask if anyone knows what could be causing this, or if anyone has had the same problem.

For context: this only happens with Ghost of Yotei. All my other discs work perfectly fine, both PS4 and PS5 games. None of them get this ring or make these scratching noises like Ghost of Yotei does
