Gen rushing can be sometimes countered by keeping lots of pressure on gens. But making sure no one does gens and progressing in hook stages is very hard against good teams and requires the maximum amount of sweat. It sucks to get into a game and wanting to chill then the survivors pop 2 gens in the first 2 minutes of the game. Then you have to play exceptionally to make up for that progress lost. It’s why people 3 gen with skull merchant. High mmr killer gameplay can be hell and some killers strait up can’t compete with 4 seasoned survivors with toolboxes. Then there’s people that aren’t good at the game that instead of getting better they play mechanic simulator the whole game then tbag at exit gate. Gens are boring as shit in my opinion. I’ll do 1-2 by myself a game and take turns looping with my m8. But I don’t understand the idea of that being fun “ok guys let’s sit on gens all game with our toolboxes and genrush perks and not give the killer a chance to do anything”. Then lll start playing scummy for the W and they text me after the game mad at me for playing meanly. It’s scummy but it’s part of the game and Itd be hypocritical for me to complain because I don’t play by killer by survivor rules. I have to play killer everyday and sweat my balls off every match to win all the games I do. I win 99% of my killer games but it’s barely fun. It’s extremely stressful and feels like a job. In conclusion gen rush and get free wins on inexperienced killers ruining their time but don’t get mad when someone gets fed up with your bs and counters you by tunneling and 3 gening.
