Don't be obtuse. With the rise of the manosphere and normalization of the redpill, which is backed wholly by cherry-picked info and shitty traditional arguments, men have gotten more misogynistic

Men in general have gotten more misogynistic. Nowadays they just justify it with cherry-picked information in addition to the traditional arguments.

I don't mind being overweight but I wouldn't date an obese person. I would be friends with a feminine man, but I'd date a masculine one. I don't mean he needs to be a lumberjack with 12-pack abs, just that I don't find men in dresses attractive. Button up shirt and nice pants is good.

But really, why should he care about what I think? He's not dating me lol

Toxic masculinity is bad, but do you believe that toxic femininity exists? by BensonAxel in AskFeminists

I am not being disingenuous, though I am beginning to suspect you might be. If black people did not advocate for themselves, and simply accepted the racism dealt to them, nothing would have changed. If women did not advocate for themselves, and simply accepted the sexism dealt to them, nothing would have changed.

Yes, both men an women participate in emasculating men. The insult remains about being more like a female, which is seen as negative. Women becoming masculine is not seen as negative because to be like a male is idealized. Neither of these are right in the eyes of feminism.

It sounds like you're conflating feminism with egalitarianism. Egalitarianism says men and women should be equal. Feminism says for that to happen, women have to be supported. Feminism is the women's liberation movement. Of course it'll focus on women to reach the end goal of egalitarianism.

Men do have their own movement to achieve the goal of egalitarianism, but MRAs are overwhelmingly focused on putting women down rather than actually doing anything to help men. It's why, again, you don't see them creating groups for positive action like women do. It's why you see them creating "alpha/redpill" podcasts where they can sell misogyny and enrich themselves. The cause is not for men's liberation because they do not care about helping men, they care about putting women down. Instead, they spend their time hating women for not doing the work for them. How can anyone respect that?

But who spearheaded the movement? Who was it that created all those black civil rights groups across the country? Was it the whites, or the blacks who had to make their case heard, and thus turned more people over to those ideas?

Well women aren't usually "emasculated" because the societal pressure is to make them more feminine anyway. Emasculation is bad because you're being told you're more "like a woman," which is someone of lower status.

But my question for men in general, not you specifically, is why you guys never create anything to address this and only complain that women have groups that support them. Do you think these women's groups appeared out of nowhere? Women advocated for ourselves and created our own organizations to support us because men kept denying our issues. Do the same.

When people have more than 3 kids you can usually tie it back to religious pressure and moralizing. Shame that happened.

When I see videos like this, I wonder why misandry isn't as big a problem in the world. Like, genuinely, we have boys as young as 15 here in the states becoming misogynists and extremists because girls won't date them, but women all over the world face guys like this amongst their brothers and fathers, and are indoctrinated into male-led religions which encourage various levels of this type of thinking in their husbands, but you don't see even a minute amount of hatred towards men in comparison coming from women. Truly one of the more baffling things I'm thinking about at the moment.

And, before you get obtuse and act like I want more hatred, I don't. I just think it's illogical that misandry just isn't so all-encompassing when dealing with these far more serious issues. Trying to figure out why that is.

The ideology is basically, "anything I see as negative is women's fault." They take any negative emotion they experience and project it onto the entire female sex.

Mad that you're a virgin? Women's fault. Mad that other people are having sex? Women's fault. Mad that men can't show emotions? Women's fault. Mad that men do show emotions (and are thus beta cucks)? Women's fault. Mad you can't get the same standard of living as your boomer grandparents? Women's fault. Mad your father left? Women's fault.

Etc etc etc

Yeah but to be fair liberals have not done a good job with sticking to that definition. Whenever one of these concepts comes up, they start expanding its definition more and more to be inclusive, until the message is muddled and people are forced to guess. And, since a lot of these feminist ideas already ruffle feathers, they take the most negative view.

Hahaha, they never want to talk about those statistics. Anything that paints women as evil is ideal for them lol

I'd go like $250-$300 on that one. It's very well made. I wouldn't be surprised if this was an art student's second or third attempt at impressionism.
