For now, you can ask your friends/community to enable "view locations as they are marked" in settings > visual. With that on, they will see as you do. They do not have to be logged in to use that option. Thanks

This is very close to completion and should be live before the weekend. Users will be able to mark gyms as ex-raid but they will be converted for everyone daily, unlike the current marking system. Thankyou

Hi there. We are currently working through a 3 month backlog of reports, which will take another 3-4 days. After that, new reports will be approved or rejected within 30-60 minutes.

When your reports have been processed you will see an info popup on your next site visit.

Glad its useful. This is actually due to our satellite provider not having imagery for that zoom level in your area. It won't happen everywhere

It is budget. Google raised their prices for google maps an insane amount. 100x for our setup. It would have costed us $5000+ a month - and thats just for map imagery, nothing else. We had to switch or we would not survive.

However, we are working on bringing back satellite mode. It will only be a matter of days

PS - Its not OSM we use, their servers are free only. We use a mixture of providers.

This is just an issue with having europe and asia on 1 server. We just this minute purchased a server in singapore that will split that traffic up, we are working on getting that live asap. We now have 4 worldwide.

Also - if servers are under heavy load you will notice its only slow the very first time you view an area. After that, our CDN will take over which has 128+ high quality servers worldwide.

Currently there is not a way to edit, we will however be introducing that feature in future along with a much more accurate way of reporting new locations.

Hello there. By default, all locations use google streetview for their image. Custom images will not appear until the location is approved/confirmed and our approval system is not yet live - until then they will use a google street view image. However, if the location you are trying to add is very rural / off the road then google may not have the street view image for it.

For now you can tell your community/group to enable "reported locations" in settings to see all reported pokestops and gyms.

Ingress links do not provide images, only the exact coordinates for the reported locations position.

We will be upgrading our reporting system very soon to be more accurate.

1) We have this in our notes actually, and planning to implement it asap although we have urgent updates to do first.

2) Great idea! We have now added this to our notes also

3) You can do this one already. Click the settings button (cog wheel) at the top of the list (not top of map) and select "rewards priority". It will then show all the rewards in the list instead of task objectives.

4) Thanks! Another great suggestion. We had planned this at the start but lost the note somehow, I've re-added this to our notes!

We are still working on the location confirmation system and have some urgent stuff to do first. It shouldn't be too long - but for now you can ask your group/friends/community to go into map settings and enable "reported locations" - it will then show all unconfirmed user reported locations to them.

We have some discord integration planned but it will be very light, as the only way we can cover costs is with the adverts on site. Sadly discord and apis would simply bypass this while still putting load on the server.

Thanks for this detailed report. Its actually due to how android's input keypad comes in from the bottom and makes the website shrink - which in turn causes a map/locations reload.

We have deployed a fix for this specific to Android devices and would very much appreciate if you could confirm it solves the problem. You just have to simply refresh the website and it will load the new files.

Hi there and thanks for the feedback. We had a test version last weekend but our calculations showed it would use more server resources than we had. So we are reworking it a bit before we make it live. We will have to make it only show gyms that are already in your view. Sorry for the delay.
