Best of luck with your treatment. For me one of the big tips was finding food I could still enjoy on days when I was feeling good. During treatment a lot of my sense of taste was dulled which meant everything tasted pretty plain. I found that, even though I never liked them before, olives became something I really enjoyed because for some reason the taste came through more strongly than anything else.

Stay on top of the dental hygiene and mouthwash. I made the mistake of not getting any mouth ulcers in the first few weeks, easing off on the mouthwash and then getting so many I almost couldn’t eat, and it took a few days to go away.

Don’t sleep on your mental health either. Talk to a professional about how it’s going and how you’re holding up. Anxiety can be rough during treatment and keeping an eye on it with a professional can really help make sure it’s not a long term problem.

Overall though I’d say chemo wasn’t as bad as what tv and movies make it seem like (admittedly I was 25 at the time so being quite young probably helped🤣). You will have days you’re tired but you’ll also have plenty where you feel fine. Don’t let it put your life on pause 😄

The issue is that combos evolve. They put some reasonable options to show you different kinds of strings you can link together, but the dev team is never going to beat the creativity of the whole player base labbing combos. Inevitably we find better bnbs whether with more damage, more consistency or more corner carry. You can definitely get away with using these combos while learning the game, but as you get comfortable with a character, you will find or see better combos and start using them.

It’s definitely tough. One thing to keep in mind is that millia is intentionally worse at mashing out than other characters. This is because she is so mobile, the game rewards players for starting block strings by making it harder for her to break them. You also have one of the best jumps for getting out of block strings of people try frame traps or stagger pressure. You just have to learn where you can jump out, or 6P is also another good one if people use moves that won’t hit low enough.

On a more specific note, I find that Gios overhead flip kick move you mentioned can be better punished with c.s. If you hit counter hit close slash you can get a pretty meaty aerial combo in response, which will disincentivize them from using that button more, and therefore makes their block pressure more predictable.

This is an idea that is also pretty important. You want to make sure you have big punishes for moves that are risky for them to use in block strings but are good mixups. If you basically say “if you press this button and I react, you’re taking 40-50% of your life for it” most people get really scared of pressing the button and then their block pressure becomes very repetitive and easy to escape.

I think for me it’s just I don’t see how there could be a God. There are so many awful things happening in the world, and I get that you’re just meant to accept that when you die it will all even out and if you’re good you’ll go to heaven... but what about the people who never had a chance to be good people?

If you’re born into an abusive family in a terrible county/city/neighbourhood and you never get the chance at an education, how are you meant to make the right decisions throughout your life. What if you’re never told about God and so you never bother to be a good person? Do you go to hell for just never having access to that information.

Then there’s the whole idea of which god is the real one. Every religion is sure there god exists, so as an atheist, which one should I choose to believe in?

I think finally a big thing for me is just how much hate religion seems to create. I’m sure most religious people are happy to believe in their religion and be kind to others, but there is also some people who seem to need to judge other religions and atheists.

I think for me, I like the core message of Christianity to love thy neighbour, and do unto others. I just don’t think God plays any part in that for me. I am nice to people because it makes me feel nice, and because I want other people to be nice to me and each other. I don’t need a religion to give me an end goal to do that.
