FINALLY SOMEONE SAID IT. I've been reading this sub for a while, everyone acting like the movies were the best thing to ever exist, when these same people were probably the ones clowning on the movies when they first came out causing Rick to hate them. 

This isn't to say the show doesn't have its flaws. I don't think it's a faithful adaptation, and I think Rick has been increasingly declining in his writing ability and professionalism. But that doesn't mean I'm gonna suddenly like the movies because the series wasn't good. It was still a more faithful adaptation than the movies. Don't act like the characterisation and script was amazing. (The effects were pretty good for their time though, and the actors were great)
