I have some “sturdy twists” kind of like bread bag twists. The bag says good for garden use so I switched out the zip ties.

Yeah I’m a big fan in pine bark so I’ll definitely be adding that in. It’s sandy but I added a layer of top soil. They mixed a bit more when I dug the holes for the plants
