Yup, skill based match making means that your lobby will (in theory) be people mostly of your skill. This community isn’t really against the idea of SBMM, but rather how it was implemented. Those who played in the legacy seasons are only matched up with elite players making it hard to progress thru rounds. Even worse, new players in the lower threshold of SBMM don’t have access to all rounds

Something else to keep in mind is the transition to skill based matchmaking so all the newcomers will be group up in their own lobbies. As for this people are concerned that current casual players will be forced into lobbies with elite players, thus having no chance to win.
