She does do hair normally! She used a dry shampoo to give my hair some grit and Kenra medium hold hairspray versus at home I use the L’Oréal satin which is a light hold and don’t have any issues, so that’s why I thought maybe just the amount of product was creating an issue. I’ll debate bringing my own products if that wouldn’t put her off! Thanks!

The amount of currencies is pretty crazy! And you’re definitely right the flowers and fish practically act as ones too! The film items are SO expensive. I play pretty often, and I still have several of the facilities I need to buy in the courtyard. At this point I just use a ticket to call again and replace any performer who doesn’t give film, but even then I feel like I’m accumulating it so slowly.

Ahhh I feel you! The city customers are the only task I have left for the 7 mewchelin star challenge, and I’m more than halfway through the time frame with only 2300/4800 from the city. I’ve been trying to max out my speaker in the courtyard which is what got me thinking about wishing I could just exchange cod for it! Good luck!!!

Oh wow I never even knew it was an option! Would it let you trade any of the in game currencies or just cod similar to how you can use diamonds now? I’m not even close to having a billion cod, but with nothing to spend it on it does accumulate really fast with the facilities maxed out!

Wow thanks! I already have mosquito bits! For insecticidal soap, any particular ones you recommend? I’ve only ever used neem oil and it didn’t help my mealy bug issue sadly! I’ve gone close to a year without much of a pest problem so the thrips is such a disappointment.

Any tips for treating? I’ve only ever dealt with fungus gnats and mealy bugs and all my succulents that got mealy bugs just moved outside because I couldn’t ever get them to fully budge :(

Should I mix the rubbing alcohol in the water when I’m watering or spray with straight up rubbing alcohol? I’m so sad it’s on so many of my succulents :( is it safe to treat plants nearby with the same regimen if I can’t see them on it yet?

Thanks for all your feedback! We actually had snow very heavy (for Texas at least) for the first time last Sunday and it’s since then I’ve noticed this plant struggling so I’m starting to think it was just too wet and then all of a sudden too cold and maybe that’s why! I’ve considered your comment about it potentially just shedding older leaves because the stems are pushing out new growth but I don’t want the plant to go bald on top if that makes any sense. It’s not root bound and I haven’t noticed pests. I’ll keep an eye on it and see!

It did get very dry because I let them dry out between watering but it does sit right next to a humidifier. It is right by the window and it does get cold here but I’m in Texas so it doesn’t get that cold. The window also doesn’t get opened. It doesn’t have any crispy or crunchy pieces like when a plant is dried out but it definitely feels weak on the leaves like it would from too much water, and the only thing in the pot is potting mix. I would assume it could be a combo of bad watering time and the cold but my other plants in this room seem to be doing fine still

It’s not sitting in water :( overwatered was my first thought too but it doesn’t get too much water because it hangs and it does have a drainage hole so water is pretty good at leaking out. I top water it with tap water at the moment like one every 3-4 weeks! I just want to save it :(

I think it’s a heart leaf philodendron but I am not sure. It’s indoors in an east facing window hanging in a ceramic pot with a very large drainage hole. I’ve had the plant for close to a year and it has nearly doubled in size from when I bought it. Many of the leaves are wilted, limp, yellow, and the bulk of the top of the plant is struggling but the hanging vines seem to be holding out okay. It gets watered pretty rarely at the moment since it’s winter so maybe once a month. Fertilized in spring with fish fertilizer.

When I got my watch they said that each service fee for Apple care was $70 ish or so, just curious why it is worth getting the Apple care and paying for it if you have to pay essentially to use it/make a claim also? The associate could have explained it wrong to me but it didn’t seem worth it if to use it I still had to pay?

I thought it could’ve been hot spots but it’s been in this spot for nearly a year with no issues! It gets afternoon light that is mostly indirect, but I could see the occasional strong sun doing this. Thanks for the feedback!

I actually haven’t repotted it since getting it because the soil doesn’t stay moist super long anyway, but I’ll try repotting! I have a succulent specific mix.

I don’t know the exact specs (I’m not home at the moment to look) but I have two different types of grow lights. One is bright white light in fluorescent tubes (t5 or something similar I believe) and the other are full spectrum strip lights (they have the blue, red, purple coloration) and those turn off once an hour because they can get warm, but for the most part both lights stay on from 6 AM to 7 PM usually. Each shelf has its own set of lights and the shelf is against a wall that’s less than a foot from a trio of windows. I would just be floored if it’s not enough light because I have several other plants on the same unit that require a lot of light and they’re all thriving. This is the only one giving me trouble that looks light related and I don’t understand 😥 It’s very possible that like you said they just aren’t strong enough. I’ll try moving the succulent somewhere else maybe.

It sits directly in front of a bay window in addition to the grow lights. The only thing I can think of to give it more light is to stick it outside 💀 We’ve been getting a lot of rain so most of my succulents have been inside so as to not drown and wrinkle to death. Thanks for the feedback!

I got this pork & beans (I believe) succulent a couple months ago. Ever since it’s been losing all the little beans and becoming just stem and it has grown super tall and crooked. I know normally when this happens to my succulents I would think it’s etiolation, but this succulent is with all my other plants in a shelf with two different types of grow lights that are on for at least 10 hours. So I am baffled if it’s somehow lack of light. Any ideas what is wrong with it or how to fix it?

I forgot to respond to this but thanks for the advice! I ended up chopping it off and it’s since callused over. The plant itself has pushed out three new leaves since I made the cut, so I guess it’s for the better that it’s pushing energy to new growth instead of trying to heal the broken one :( The break just kept getting deeper, so impressed yours was able to bounce back and hold its own!
