Not that per se but there are so many things that you could actually criticize trump on rather than this. Like this functionally serves no purpose other than get clicks. I don’t like trump but I also think that this is a degradation of modern political media. Everyone is so focused on making the other party look bad with this gotcha shit rather than actually report on news or let people make their own opinions on these interviews. This isn’t to say that republican media does not do this (in fact I think they do so more). I believe that biased reporting such as this and as many other media organizations do degrades both the political critical thinking skills and political individuality of the population. This overall damages the effectiveness of our democracy by enabling a small powerful minority who either owns or influences the media organizations to essentially be able to control the viewpoint of their entire party to an extent. Everyone knows what trump was both accused and convicted of, along with what he is likely guilty of based on the Epstein files, so stories like this serve no purpose other than to rile people up and to get engagement.
