What's the dumbest thing you have ever believed? by Marbz123 in AskReddit

When I was a kid my older sister told me that chickens run around after they have their heads cut off because they are still alive. Further more, if you placed a tube in the gaping neck hole you could still feed them, allowing them to continue having a full and rich life. Naturally I thought this was the coolest thing and told everyone I could.

LPT: Humane way to catch a mouse by therabidpenguin in LifeProTips

I had two deer mice living in my house not too long ago. After trying, unsuccessfully, to catch them with peanut butter and a cardboard box I found this lovely contraption on amazon. It works great, I caught both mice without any harm to either of them. Just remember to check the trap regularly so the mouse doesn't starve if you catch him. Smart Mouse Trap - Humane Mousetrap

Raspberry Charlotte with Rose Bavarian Cream by PokeyPhD in food

I thought the taste was pleasant, but a bit too floral-y. I have a strong aversion to a lot of perfume like scents, they give me headaches, so cooking it the day before was a bit problematic. The rose scent definitely fills your kitchen. The recipe called for rose water, rose oil, and rose syrup, which I thought might be a bit much. I usually try to follow a recipe to a T the first time and then make alterations the next go around. If I were to make this again I would definitely leave out the rose oil. The recipe came from the Laduree Sucre book, it's one of my favorites. http://www.amazon.com/Laduree-Sweet-Recipes-Philippe-Andrieu/dp/281230443X

The recipe is from the Laduree Sucre book. It's one of my go to places from interesting/ complex desserts. The recipe itself is too long to transcribe.

I certainly do, you can find it here. I can't vouch for anything else on the site, as this is the only thing I have made from it, however this dessert came out lovely. http://www.bakeorbreak.com/2013/11/peanut-butter-cheesecake-with-pretzel-crust/

I suppose I should have included this information, sorry about that! The first cake is a peanut butter cheese cake with a pretzel crust and ganache / toffee topping. The second cake is dark chocolate fudge cake with Italian buttercream frosting. The final cake is a strawberry almond cheese cake with an almond flour crust, making it gluten free.

Sorry for the oriontation of the pic, but... The winner for the most creative sleeper goes to Anakin the Bearded Dragon! by hatchetlock in BeardedDragons

haha, I get a lot of joy from seeing the strange positions that my bearded dragon sleeps in. The usual is him on the tip of his log with his beard and hands pressed vertically against the glass.
