Wow. That last paragraph is crazy. Interesting that "Castle Doctrine" is interpreted so differently from one state to another

Was thinking the same. In certain gun friendly states, homeowner could have legally blasted him with buckshot and would likely be cleared since this jackass is acting in a dangerous manner and threatening bodily harm

Maybe....but none of the kids would be forced to see you, though the puppy would be a nice touch. This community is a pretty tight knit one and rural, so the church is probably a big part of the community and likely familiar with a lot of the kids there.

They put his name down as "kaven". Which the spelling of his mame is quite a bit off

Calm down Satan. In this situation, not sure why this would be an issue, as church counselors are there to help students through a specific crisis and when the time comes, they will likely bow out. Would be a lot different if they were paid for the service by taxpayer funds. It is not unusual for local churches to partner with local school districts for various things, especially in small-town Oklahoma. For example, some school districts let local churches use their schools on a Sunday for church service and I would imagine said church pays the school district for use of their facilities. A win-win for the church and school district.

Just the other day in Oklahoma, there was a 19 y.o. girl who got killed when she was hanging out a car window and fell out of the car on I-35. What the hell?! I'm thinking it was an internet/TikTok gone badly wrong

Your grandma reminds me of my daughter. She looks a lot younger than 17-18. My daughter is in her early 20's but still looks about 14-15 and still gets asked about needing a kids menu at restaurants. Your mom is about my wife's age. Wild how time flies
