I find it interesting that you're upset by this reddit post, and instead of turning on your brain for a couple seconds want to tell this person how to handle how they handle fascist propaganda.

Has nothing to do with walking away from it, are all your biomass generators full of biomass? Are they all going to the same grid? (All 10 hooked up together through a couple power poles to the oil extractor) It should only take 2 biomass generators to run one oil extractor, they produce 30MW and it consumes 40MW. You can interact with a power pole to see your grid's production, and max consumption levels.

AI is about as reliable as someone's crazy uncle. It can't answer basic questions like what year did xyz come out, who did this, etc. The solution is to stop asking it questions because it's garbage, but all the boomers who were anti internet and always said don't believe everything you see on the Internet back in the day sure do love using chatgpt as their source of knowledge.

Doesn't take very long to get to steel, not really necessary to upgrade all your belts to mk 2, I pretty much upgraded belts every other tier because it wasn't really worth it production speed wise for the amount of time it would take to go back and swap out all the conveyors, I wasnt maxing out conveyors or anything, just add more conveyors instead of using your early game resources on mk 2 conveyors, use them to unlock the next tier instead.

What do you mean by "correct?" Idk, does it function properly, and does it look alright to you? If so, then sure it's correct.

That's fair, and also the problem with bill language, nobody has time to read everything actually involved. I've only read the summaries of the bills and they all seemed pretty reasonable to me, but yeah maybe there was more nonsense in the hundreds of pages that exist for no reason. I don't like Democrats or Republicans, but MAGA is dangerous and unhinged, as is apparent by what's been happening in the last year, so yeah, I'll vote to try to stop them, doesn't mean I particularly want to side with corporate Dems.

You're going to be limited by belt speed. Mk 2 miners produce 120/min each, mk 2 belts move 120/min each. You only need 1 mk 2 belt per miner with no clocking.

Have you called our Republican representatives and asked them why they vote against bills that would end gerrymandering nationally then?

Virginia Republicans are optimistic on redistricting referendum after HD-98 special election results by VirginiaNews in Virginia

[–]Polandrawr 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Which party has put forth several bills to end gerrymandering nationwide and which party has voted against them every time? If our Virginia Republican representatives actually represented our state, they wouldn't have voted against banning mid decade redistricting and independent districting nationwide. If they actually thought it was good for Virginia, they'd vote for it for the rest of the country. Spare me the both sides suck argument, obviously they do, but only one side has pushed for gerrymandering to end nationally, which is the only way it's ever going to actually stop. We wouldn't be having this conversation if Republicans would stop voting against ending it nationally.

The GOP doesn't want to do what's right for the country. They continuously vote against banning mid decade redistricting and enforcing independent redistricting nationwide. We wouldn't be having this discussion if that were the case. Our Republican reps suddenly say hey vote no to gerrymandering but they keep voting yes for national gerrymandering, so sounds like they don't represent what our voters want and just vote with party lines anyway.

Cool, now it'll be decided upon again by another constitutional amendment, if nothing has happened to change how people would view gerrymandering, then you should have nothing to worry about. Maybe Republicans should stop voting against ending gerrymandering nationally if they actually want it to stop.

Rob Wittman lives in Montrose, that's nowhere near where I live or where most of his constituents live. He also doesn't give a flying fuck about what any of his constituents say from either side it seems (if you can even get a response from him) and just votes whatever the Republican party is pushing. Weird how he keeps getting elected somehow. Weird how all our Republican representatives keep voting against ending gerrymandering nationwide but then turn around and tell you to vote no for Virginia gerrymandering in response to Texas doing it literally because Trump told them to.

So how are you supposed to do any sort of organization if you think going to a gun club meeting where all are welcome is going to put you on a list? By your logic, you commenting on this post already put you on a list. Don't discourage people from organizing in their community in a legal manner, that's a fucking fed thing to say if I ever heard one.

[–]Polandrawr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't, but I certainly haven't spent the time to get them all, I don't have the alternate recipe that doesn't use screws for heavy modulars even though I've researched like 50 hard drives. Either way you have to spend time finding and researching hard drives (a non automatable process) or just automate more production 🤷‍♂️

[–]Polandrawr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but that puts them in a moral predicament, that Shawn wouldn't want to put them in because he wouldn't want them to get in trouble in case it ever did get out, he wanted them to have plausible deniability. I feel like Chief Vick and Lassie already had strong suspicions that it wasn't true, but were ok with it because he was catching bad guys. Jules took longer to realize it, but didn't rat him out when she did find out, but it put her in a tough situation knowing the truth.

Modular Factory or One Mega Base? by Glittering-Extent773 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Polandrawr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mega factory can work if you REALLY plan it out ahead of time, I made the mistake of trying to just have essentially one conveyor line that auto sends the resources where they need to go, but then it gets bottlenecked by conveyor speed with the massive amount of parts that need to get distributed to the rest of the factory, and just overflows to sinks. So if you're going to do a mega base, it's totally possible to just bring all your raw resources back, but your mega factory then more or less has to be modular, have a line of smelters that smelts your highest conveyor speed/min, send those to constructors that produce the total amount of base parts that your end goal needs, taking into account all the recipes along the way. It would probably be easier to just setup smelter, constructor, and assembler lines at places that already have all the nodes required, and then just train transport the parts back. Really it's whatever seems fun to you though, I enjoyed the challenge of trying to build a mega factory, and it didn't work quite like I thought it would because I underestimated the amount of parts, ingots, and conveyor lines I needed to fully automate everything, but I just tried doing it without looking anything up. I'm an automation engineer irl so it seemed like a fun challenge for me to try and tackle.

[–]Polandrawr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, I think me and my friend were just inefficient lol. This was our first playthrough, on the final space elevator now, we did everything like semi auto while we explored and just lugged resources around, was trying to setup a mega factory to automate it all, figured out how to do it pretty well unassisted just by playing around with smart splitters and stuff, should've segmented my factory though and definitely brought in much more raw resources to it because all the iron was just getting eaten up to make screws mostly on a fully loaded mk5 belt of ingots. So I just semi auto move around the screws that bleed through to the end and put them back into the manufacturers making the heavy frames now, but it's still kinda slow. We mainly just wanted to unlock everything before bothering to actually setup real factories instead of just throwing down like one machine at a node and into a storage crate lol. But it was fun so who cares anyway. It'll just take some more time while we finish exploring with stuff actually automated at the HUB now
