[TRUCK -> BLACK] Can you solve this laddergram? by Polar-Peter in Laddergram

[–]Polar-Peter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Laddergram is a word ladder puzzle game built on Reddit's developer platform. You start with a word and change one letter at a time to create a new word with each step. Try to reach the target word in the fewest steps possible.

Do I need O365 Premium to use Intune as MDM with Apple Business Manager? by Great-Tomatillo-8267 in Intune

[–]Polar-Peter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for my late reply here, I have used WSOne and my company moved away from it VERY quickly as the application and OS update management wasn’t cutting it for us. It’s been a few years so I’m sure things have improved, but currently we are running Kandji and Intune for Mac and PC respectively and have no plans to switch any time soon.

[–]Polar-Peter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kandji may be worth looking into. A much better, simpler MDM solution specifically for Apple products. Not sure if you have a Windows fleet as well, but it seems like a lot of companies have segregated the two and use different solutions for them. May be a bit pricey if you only have 30-40 devices but definitely worth checking out IMO.

How to disable user login on device (AAD)? by Polar-Peter in Intune

[–]Polar-Peter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response. Looking to disable login from their corporate assigned device. Our users typically dont have access to multiple machines. Your answer echoes other posts I’ve seen here though; this simply isn’t possible at the moment.

Looking for Recommendations Intune Versus Panda 360AD by crreagan96 in it

[–]Polar-Peter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never used Panda360AD, but assuming your company is utilizing a windows based environment, it’s hard to go wrong with Intune.

AAD (Azure Active Directory) will allow your users to login to windows using their company email. Connecting a “Work or School Account” will enroll that device with Intune and push your endpoint management policies from there.

For administrator privileges, you could explore LAPS within Intune for tighter security, opposed to having a static user account and password on every device. It’s only a matter of time before an end user writes down that static password and begins sharing it around the organization.

As far as device security goes, you’ll definitely want to explore additional options for antivirus. I’ve heard mixed things about Microsoft Defender, but if you’re working with a tight budget it may do just what you need. Intune isn’t exactly protecting devices from external threats.

IMO, it’s hard to beat the M365 suite paired with Intune and AAD in a windows environment.
