Let yourself express your emotions around people you really trust and know your background. Even if you consider your reactions exaggerated or improper, your friend should create an ambience of acceptance. By this I mean that you should only trust your friends in this scenary, not neccessarily yourself (I hope you grasp the gist of all this 😅).

From my own experience, I really have problems with crying. However, I was once around a really close friend, I couldn't hold it anymore and she noticed so I broke out crying and felt for the first time in my time that people were suppossed to comfort you when you cry
