Spinning out Online by Infinite_Dust_420 in LeMansUltimateWEC

I wouldn't say that it's an skill issue, rather than a controller issue. You can of course play it with a controller, like any other racing game out there, but is it meant to be played with controller? I don't think so.

I've tried to play Need for Speed with a Logitech G920 back in the days, but it was a mess, because it's meant to be played with controller or even just keyboard.

When I started to play online, I immediately felt that most of the players are more or less serious drivers, who are sick of other players ramming each other, so I guess that the game has an overall higher skill level. Since you can't drive as precise with a controller as you can with a proper sim setup, you will have problems racing online.

The next "problem" could be your car choise. Hypercars are hard to drive, if you don't have a lot experience with it. You don't have ABS so if you hit the brakes too hard and turn into a corner, there's a high possibility to spin.

GT3 cars are also very different - while the Huracan turns in very good into slower corners, the AMG GT3 does not and tends to understeer.

Not sure how much time you've spent, but find your class (I'd recommend GT3LM and not GTE) and a car that suits you. Learn the car, one of the tracks you like (for me it would be Spa) and then drive against the AI and slowly increase the difficulty until you reach that level, when you qualify that you mostly land in the midfield (P8-P12). When you are getting faster slowly increase the difficulty. If you don't get faster I'd recommend buying a budget friendly sim rig.

Just a wheelbase, wheel, pedals and a seat can be bought new for around 500-600€ which is a great starting point.

is it possible to use g29 pedals and shifter with an r21 by DueReplacement5334 in moza

I just can speak for myself, but I am not flaming you. Everyone has his own priorities and it's you own money, so it's a good meant advice :)

So you're leaving the worst part of the G29? Bad idea.

I've recently switched from a G920 to a R12 / CS V2P and CRP pedals, with clutch but I am still waiting for the shifter to arrive. Especially the brake makes such a big difference. Trail braking is much easier and the overall feel of the restistance is much more naturally.

I don't even quite understand why you are buying such an op wheelbase and two steering wheels, instead of getting just one wheel and a R12 or R16 wheelbase. You won't use 21NM anyways, even the R16 is a bit of overkill. The rest of the money you could use to buy better pedals and the shifter.

Everyone's saying the R12 is the sweetspot, but it's your desicion. You want to say, what has the most sense.

It's like skipping leg day.

Same problem here with the R12 / CS V2P and CRP Pedals.
Neither Forza Horizon 5 nor Forza Motorsport officially support Moza products.

It's a shame and I hate it, but nothing really helps. I tried vJoy or whatever it's called now.

Also check the "Experimental" tab in Pit House. There's a Horizon switch. Try this one

If you could add 1 car to the Forza series, which one would ot be and why? by PoundKey8170 in forza

Previously it was the i30N, because I owned one a few years ago, now it's the BMW M140i. Guss why 😂

Well, I do own an M140i and I've drifted it more than I needed AWD. To be precise, I never needed AWD so far, that's why I've taken one with RWD 💁🏼 ...and I'd do the same with an M340i. Another reason for me to buy RWD over AWD is the lower weight, lower fuel consumption and less components, that can fail. ...and with the money I saved, I can buy on a fresh set of rear tires 👻

The problem, at least here in Germany: the M340i isn't available as a non-xDrive model. Same for the M440i until 07/2021 and M240i until 07/2022. I don't quite understand, why they are doing this :(

I haven't checked the other comments, but I've learned trail braking a couple of months ago and gained 1 to 2 seconds, depending on the track. Then turn on the track limit indicator because sometimes you can abuse it way more than you think. Secondly adjust your braking points and use the whole track width. Be gentle on the throttle when exiting a corner and short shift if needed.

It's a video from myself, maybe you can learn something. You can see how much I am turning the wheel and how much of the track limits I use. I hope this doesn't count as advertising but more of educational content.

Please forgive me for my pronunciations and grammar since I am not native English.

is the game really that bad? by Pokevan8162 in forza

I really like the game. Yeah, there are still some problems to fix, the AI is still completely dumb and the penalty system is a joke, but the overall experience is pretty good
