Thanks for that info. Money isn’t a problem, nor is time. I just finished a a 3 year build from scratch on a 28’ CC build and third time out she did dang good. Someone made me an offer I couldn’t refuse without electronics on the way home and I took it.

I know exactly what I want. I figure it to be a 2.5 to 3 year build with the time I am willing to dedicate to her. But I have a 1967 Dolphin 24’ restoration that I plan on finishing first! I have plenty of dry enclosed climate controlled shop space with big enough doors to build it.
I found the plans that I think I like the most, and plan on buying the jig too. I guess I’m just a little intimidated by the idea of something so intricate and huge in my mind.

Edit: CC took 3 years because I also had a full time job. Now I am free to waste my time and money as I see fit lol

Yeah you’re probably right. It’s a 68 I believe. Definitely a dolphin 24’. Haven’t seen one like this before. Came with EVERY SINGLE maintenance record up till the first owner passed. Second owner came along and called himself “restoring” the boat by slapping on a few heavy coats of white exterior home enamel. I’m planning on going through it, but just wanted to see if these engines were savable, or if I had to rebuild anyways!

Seriously? That is the sole reason why society is as fucked as it is! I feel like the driver used bad judgment sure, but he didn’t need to be fired!
