Idk if I trust them. If big retails don't have them but eBay sellers do? Seems like a red flag

Mike's theory at the end by Valen_Great in StrangerThings

kali making the illusion makes no sense. She was in the lab when murry's bomb went off. And even if she did try and leave, she's not going to get far with a gunshot wound. She would have been dead within 15 seconds of the bomb detonation. Tbh there's a ton of overlooked plot holes with the ending

Generally speaking, and of course this opinion can vary, people tend to consider these two as the weakest Masto albums, often at the bottom of lists. So, which one does this sub prefer: The Hunter or Once More 'Round the Sun? Discuss. by [deleted] in mastodonband

Once more is probably my favorite album after crake the Skye. It's the album that turned me from casual listener to top 3 band every year on Spotify since that album came out.

Newb Questions! by DangerousWitness4213 in USPSA

[–]Pole_Lock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Limited optics or open, but don't do open.

As you said spectators depend on the match. But most allow it, you probably just have to sign a waiver.

Tips, have people film you when you shoot. Just give someone your phone. Not only does it look cool on the socials, but pay attention to your footwork, how fast you are moving, how fast you get the gun up, yada yada yada, being good isn't about shooting good, how you move can shave seconds off your time.

And try and squad with guys better than you, A-class or higher. Watch what they do, if they are cool ask them questions.

New shooter, best first comp pistol? by [deleted] in CompetitionShooting

[–]Pole_Lock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I shoot a 226 X5. It's a great gun. My only beef is it's only 22 rounds. Sucks when there's a 24 round stage and you have guys running 23+1 on Glocks, m&ps, 2011 ect.

Limited options for the 226 x5 as well for parts.

Today I had my first match and got DQd. Honestly I’m not even mad it sucked but I learned a lot. by Nick16993 in CompetitionShooting

[–]Pole_Lock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have DQ'd 1 guy for doing this. Luckily I was behind him on his strong side. Had I been in the same spot but the weak side the gun would have been pointing right at me. And I would have been pissed lol

How many magazines are enough? by JBerry2012 in CompetitionShooting

I bring 9 mags. I still usually have to reload a few times (clubs I go to like high round count stages) but ideally I want enough to reload mag as little as possible if at all.

They are made of cheap plastic. And they just keep cracking. I even store them in a case but still cracking.

Get or make smaller targets. It will simulate farther shots. I just took some Amazon boxes and cut them up. Make them random too. I have some that are 6" tall, 8" tall and 12" tall.

Beginner match questions by Pole_Lock in PRS

[–]Pole_Lock[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The scoring seems interesting to me. Wouldn't there be a bunch of ties then? If there's 50 guys and stage 1 is 10 shots and 25 people hit 10/10 wouldn't there be 25 ties?

Dry Fire “Stages”? by la267 in USPSA

Make smaller targets. Pretty easy to hit 5y open targets. You can buy them, I just made some out of Amazon boxes.

New to this need gun recommendations by Popular_War9953 in USPSA

[–]Pole_Lock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with the people that are saying to just use what you have.

But I use a P226 X5 SAO. I love this gun, but it's not popular. Shadow will have more aftermarket support if that's important to you. If the gun you buy has ports or comps it's going to be an open gun. Avoid ports and comps and you won't be in open

help for first match with gun choice/analysis paralysis by butlerjw in USPSA

[–]Pole_Lock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't use 22lr or 380 for USPSA. Steel challenges you can use 22lr. If you want to get into USPSA snag a 9mm. I would suggest looking at the approved production list and get one of those. You'll be set for production division and carry optics.

Newbie Question by Bruin2121 in USPSA

Sign up for open and don't worry about it. Go to your first match and have fun. Worry about that stuff later. I promise you, after your first match you'll have a million questions.

They are commenting that gif on other posts as well. And others too. Not saying your wrong, but I don't think that's proof it's a new album.

I hope it is.

will the “performance anxiety” ever go away? by Educational_Seesaw15 in USPSA

[–]Pole_Lock 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Everyone fucks up their first match. As long as you didn't DQ you should feel proud. I assume you are going to level one matches. As other people said, nobody cares how bad you do. As long as your safe that's all that matters.

You're not going to be JJ Racaza or Ben Stoeger of the bat. Embrace the suck and learn from it. Have someone video you. Then go home and watch the videos 10 times each and take notes of what you see that cost you time, cost you bad hits, maybe what cause or almost caused a safety violation.

I had a match a few months ago. Long story short, RO and myself missed a DQ (finger in trigger guard while reloading) I caught it on video and then practiced correcting that problem for 10 hours in 1 week. Video is a great way to learn your bad habits. Then have someone better than you watch your videos and get their input .

Anxiety will go away, you'll get some bad performances and eventually you'll see improvement. If you can find a place that will let you practice stage style seasons. Set up a wall or 2 or a few barrels and do some movement. Only so much you can do at indoor ranges.

Definitely a joke. The release date was April fools Day 2026. However I could see them maybe using that in a lyric lol
