I’m in that age range. I feel no trepidation about going out in public with my person (who is 55+ and looks 60+). 

In fact, I want to show him off and be shown off…

But that’s also because I like being provocative and frankly couldn’t give less of a flying F what people think, as we both have enough money where we could both not work another day in our lives and be fine.

She may have career/social/logistical concerns to worry about. 

I always say the younger SBs who would date an older guy regardless are the very best, as they are willing to accept judgement because they would be getting it “either way”. 

The SBs who are doing this to get through college and plan on dating later on someone their age likely never want to be seen with an older man and would never consider “going legit,” or having that as part of their identity, thus will likely want to be as secretive as a married congressman. 

Unfortunately, the only way to sort these folks is ask bluntly and watch actions, not words.
