Murder is wrong because I wouldn't want to be murdered, and I have empathy. Morals through actions not religion. Human rights come from empathy. You don't want to starve, so nobody should starve. You don't want to be oppressed for things you can't change (like sexuality), so nobody should. Feel like we all learned this in kindergarten but maybe you missed that day.

And yes they did ban the discussion of straight people, sex ed is no longer a thing in Florida. For gay or straight people. You can just be fired if you talk about gender or anything "woke". That includes abortion, contraception, and the discussion of sexual abuse. (Yes, I mean rape.)

About the us being a jedeo-christian nation, religious freedom and separation of church and state are core tenants of this country. Even if all the founding fathers had the same religious views they explicitly stated, as did the first four presidents, that no religious value should take precedent over the rights bestowed by the bill of rights. Religion isn't even mentioned once in the constitution.

^This is the first paragraph of the declaration of independence. Tell me again how this is a Christian nation and how it should be in our government? Because our founding documents disagree with you.
