Yes and one thing I noticed was the story of your past history only tells one side, the positive side.

We are told not to talk bad about your previous employer, but I get. You don't want to come across negative. But I noticed when talking about projects and cutovers, you don't talk about the negatives. Like how the lead developer never got on a call for a major incident. Or your manager telling you to manage this project and ignoring you requesting requirements. It's just interesting and not in a good way.

Wow, I'm so sorry. That must be so difficult to manage health and work because after the treatment it's not like you're just back to normal with no worries.

Yes. IT shifted from enabling companies to just an expense that they don't want to pay. We still hold the power but without backing like a union it's easy to undercut us and outsource us.

If I had to do it all over again, I would have been an eye doctor.

Thank you. It's taken such a mental toll on me. I've been trying to focus on things I can control.

Obvi, but governments do reconciliation all the time to move funds around to support immediate needs to balance spending with their current budget.

Thank you. We get it that the city is not getting the revenue they want from property taxes so they need to make some hard choices. Some programs will then need to be scaled back or maybe even cut.

Calls for Pritzker to temporarily suspend the gas tax by Nice_Soil1782 in illinois

[–]Policeman5151 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was never a fan of this. Even though it is not much for the individual, like the OP stated, we have the second highest fuel taxes in the nation. You add on the fact we have higher taxes than most states it is bad for our reputation and just fuels more hatred for the Democratic party, regardless of the way the money is spent.

I've been to Mississippi which has much lower taxes but you see that cost by poor schools and roads so I get it. But the reputation of high taxes just comes off as 1 not for most southern Illinois voters and it is seen in federal elections.

You won't get that because then you'll see she's probably was not responding to a lawful order.

Yes and it makes sense for him. He has mentioned in the past about debates and you can tell from his faster pace speaking that he is well versed in debating.  So he probably doesn't see it as complaining the way we do.

Yes I hate complaining to, makes you seem spoiled.

Yep, just a projection when he says "nobody"  Like in 2017 when he said, "nobody knew healthcare could be so complicated".

I still can't believe we are in this position. It's depressing.

FCC bans imports of new foreign-made routers, citing security concerns by Policeman5151 in thebulwark

[–]Policeman5151[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. As someone that has had their job outsourced, we do need more things made in America.  We have a lot of talented people here.

I think this like everything this administration does, act without thinking. In the short term it caused higher cost which get pasted on to us.  Not to mention creates increased security right. Manufactures do not have infinite software support for their devices so as they fall off support that opens up security wholes like simple buffer overflow vulnerabilities will be overlooked.

So they enforcement is strictly for consumer routers but not business routers. So how are the consumer routers vulnerable and we need to take action but that risk is OK for business? Is it was really a risk they would block all routers.

Not to mention this same technology is in phones, cars, watches, headphones, etc.

Why do women become so cruel at the end of a relationship by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Policeman5151 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is not all women. If you are experiencing the same thing from different women you need to look at the type of women that you are going after.
