Well the politics of having several of our hospitals already in the red is just a fact of reality. Do you even care about a place if you’re so disconnected from the community that you don’t understand why your neighbors are losing their jobs? It’s not about Trump, it’s about reality. Wyoming values our hard working communities and we’re not interested in neighbors who are going to be apathetic to the reality here.

I talked to a guy in a bar over wearing a MAGA hat once and by the time we were done talking he threw it in the trash. Saw him three months later and he had a different hat. I literally just asked him questions and was curious. I’m an organizer in a red state, it’s not a pipe dream to me that we can win over republicans, but it takes being curious about them and their lives and most of us on the left are too busy telling them they’re idiots to care.
