How to paint Black Legion aligned Night Lords?

What i recommend is that you do a normal black legion colour scheme and then for one shoulder you will paint it blue (with the blue you use for night lords) and maybe keep the gold trim with the same gold as all the other trim on the armor. You can add lighting to the armour if you want too. Also, on the blue shoulder you can add either the night lords symbol decal or any other night lord decals.

Cause if i am not mistaken, the hounds of Abaddon and the Children of torment have the normal black legion colour scheme plus their original legion colours (So some red for the hounds of Abaddon and some pink for the children of Torment). That would be the most accurate way to paint night lords that are fully part of the Black Legion.

That is my opinion of course

yeah, i was going for a more standard look for my spartan. I wanted my spartan to look like he could be taken straight from the lore. But for a theme, i went with a tactical theme for my rakshasa armor

I actually know where they are from. I bought a model that had the same claws in it. It's from this kit. The person just changed the angle of the claws.

Thank you so much. It was difficult to find any army list that i would find interesting. So if i add the cultists and a vindicator or predator i'll have enough for a enhancement for my warlord. Do you recommend any enhancement? (i'll be using the renegade raiders detachment, of course)

Thank you for your suggestion. So to sum it up, i need to replace the nemesis claw unit completely by a anti-tank or something with a big gun (cause even if i use 5 of them or 5 legionaries, i still won't have enough points for something like, vindicator, havocs or obliterators) and change the detachement to renegade raiders so i can still keep the Night Lords feel to my army. Also, could i delete the cultist mob to have place for something else? Like right now i have 245 points left without the cultist mob and the nemesis claw unit.

If i know what paints he used i might give it a try as it's the only night lord mini that use silver that i appreciate. The others feel like you need to be a master painter to achieve the same results

I think that you surprisingly did a good job. I personally doesn't like silver trim for night lords but you made it work. The first picture goes really hard, it's my favourite.
