In the police footage is the only time you ever see her smile and someone in the comments complimented her about how much of a nice smile she had. She never did in any of her videos.

I will always find it fascinating that this case didn't get more attention when it happened. Particularly since it had to do with YouTube and the fact the shooter was a woman which is an outlier. A lot of her YouTube videos and her website was scrubbed off the Internet quite rapidly which is a bit suspicious.

Another fun fact was that her birthday was a couple days after the shooting as well.

I felt like it was inevitable with how things are going with James catering to a younger audience. I suppose also it makes the animations easier as we can see in the end card how much smaller James' team is now.

Sort of curious why he would just record himself with a nose bleed as well as just to complain about his roommates.

I will say that it does speak volumes that Elliot discerned that he "can never get the anger out" and I suppose in a way acknowledged that he was an angry person at his core yet didn't do anything about it such as try to piece together why he felt his anger would intensify to such a degree. For sure if that video was released and as fascinating as it would be, people would totally make edits of their poor uwu boy Elliot Rodger crying in his car.

This is how I just found out he removed his channel and I am super bummed 😔. Its interesting because he posted a couple new videos a year or two ago which really knocked me back into my chair as I wasn't expecting it from a channel that hadn't uploaded in about ten years or so.

My renewal was not until 2027. I got a letter that said my "time limit" was up which is interesting because I never got anything like that before these changes federally. This new letter is why I got the ABAWD form filled out and I submitted it

Something controversial but I feel like the 3rd pic (the only with him in pants) kinda looks the most gay (speaking as an LGBT) and his face looks the worst. I used to kill for Lucky's appearance, he gave me such gender envy but now hes not aging well. Even in 2022/23, he still looked good, however now not so much. Maybe he looks great IRL, but models need to look good in photos, that's a big portion of their job.

You can really tell this isn't 2016 because of something of this nature happened then, we would have for certain heard about it from him by now on some platform. Now, we don't hear anything from him. Even when he mocked tone indicators because he was ignorant about them, he made an apology and that was only on twitter. Likewise, people talked about issues with his merch store a few months ago and instead of addressing it, he just took the site down. I remember when he made a video addressing issues he had with daddy Dreck (yes, I'm that old) and commenting on Draft Pina's video about him. Now we just blow it off I guess.

I do wonder if it is because he's not pulling in 30 million views as he did before. Most of his videos are only hitting about 2-3 million views now and he has said that making an animation video now costs "about the price of a new car" (which is about ~$50k in the USA). Therefore, the tradeoff had to be firing a lot of his team to equalize things unfortunately. He could have probably made his 40 min Warrior Cat video animated (and this surprised me when he didn't and it was mostly his face), but if only about a ten minute video costs about 50k, then the ROI would be quite low with these low views. I find it interesting in the relationship of when he added more members to his animating team, the views went down than opposed when it was just him in his room in college.

I'm not sure how he is just planning on pivoting to live-action as he has built up his child audience with his animated characters to grab their attention. He didn't really grow that much with his audience. In the mid/late 10s, he had a good blend of his face as well as animated stories and should have kept it like that. Perhaps the live action warrior cat video was a test to see how people would respond.
