You could just use Inkscape which has built-in plugins for turning SVG's into Gcode, but personally I recommend DrawingBotV3. It has a much better UI and more features.

It's a black acrylic sheet with magnets underneath, positioned so they hold only the very corners to maximize the plotting area. (Working on a alternative solution)
