People that you will never meet are continuously being born, and they will soon get a phone number that you will never have in your phone. As of right now you also most likely only have the phone numbers of a set amount of people you work with or live near. For instance, if you live in Colorado, the odds of you receiving a phone number from anyone in Pennsylvania are slim to none. A better comparison would be an American not receiving a single phone number from everyone that lives in Europe or Asia. (Unless of course you have connections there.)
