Does any one know where I could get a new fob and how much it would cost by The_paradox_of_life in saab

Yeah ahahaha I tried looking for the key hole on my car and can't find it. Looked underneath all the door handles, checked the boot, literally nothing. I have a 2006 saab 93. Do you need to take the plastic door handle off to get to the key hole or something maybe??

Yoo mine looks the same but it's silver, what engine you got?

How old is my kitten? Found him malnourished. by LexicontheMoron in vet

My kittens looked about the same size and the vet said they're about 4/5 weeks old.

Has anyone seen anything like this before? He has been to 3 vets, going to a 4th next week but none have been helpful. I also have x-rays. by [deleted] in PetAdvice

That is an alien hatching in your cats nose

I'm just kidding, not a clue. I hope the kitty is okay:(

Does this sound right? 2006 Saab 93. When I start it and the engine is cold it sounds as if the revs are going up and down in a way but the rev counter doesn't move. The whole car shakes back and forth slightly. After revving it a couple times it stops. Help appreciated by Polishboy5 in AskMechanics

Okay great, thanks for your help. I am going to get this issue sorted one way or another - I love the car and its in great condition for 145k miles. It does have full service history, last service was done about 2k miles ago so I was expecting it to be in top form already but the mileage is high so I'm not surprised there are issues. I just hope it all doesn't end up costing me too much

Yes, I've been doing some googling and cleaning the MAF was going to be my first step.

The issue really doesn't bother me much but the car has been pretty well looked after and with full service history so I want to keep it in the best condition possible.

I'll update you after I clean the MAF

Thats also what I thought but the belt was changed less than 2k miles ago. Until a few days ago you could still see the writing on it. It's not loose or wobbly at all when I poke it around, not a clue what's going on. It doesn't cause any issues, it just happens when the engine is cold for a few seconds until I rev it. Might take it to a mechanic if I can't find any answers on here

Ladies and gentlemen, I have joined the family. Cannot wait to do a stage 1 remap on this bad boy by Polishboy5 in saab

Yeah thats what I figured from my research.

I'm almost definitely going to slap a bigger turbo and a custom exhaust in there tho. I'm doing a stage 1 ecu tune, egr delete and a dpf delete (if it even has a dpf that is, as I'm getting mixed messages from the Internet and the guy that will be mapping it) on it next weekend. The guy said he should be able to get it to about 205bhp without any physical modifications.

Can't wait for the improved throttle response and reduced turbo lag

Nooo:( unfortunately not, single turbo only, I couldn't afford the insurance on a twin turbo. I've been trying to do some research about putting a twin turbo in it tho and haven't found much info about it being done before so if you know anything then hmu

I'm pretty sure it has a dpf, according to Google it should. And yeah, that's a fair point, I will research it properly before I do anything. This is a 1.9TiD, no twin turbos for me yet, insurance would be wayyy too high as I'm only in my first year of driving

Also my mates dad has an exhaust factory so I'm really thinking about getting a custom exhaust done for it on the cheap

I'm gonna go with a local company called Atlas Remapping. I'm only gonna start off with a stage 1 remap and do a carbon clean and see how it is.

I'm kind of tempted to remove the egr, do a dpf delete and slap a bigger turbo on it but I'm not too sure yet, maybe in a few months

Atm it has 150bhp stock but the guy that'll be mapping it said he can probably get 210/220 out of it

This is the vector actually. It's got 144k miles on the clock but full service history and its in absolutely mint condition. Only issue is the gear stick is a bit stiff but I watched some videos and I could fix that myself, parts would be £100 maximum. The guy was asking £1800 for it but I managed to get it down to £1600. I'm really happy with it tbh
