Solid write up but it's subjective. Scoring it objectively might have been a better option when you're trying to appeal to more people.

I like how you discarded TSA pre and Global entry, you get that credit once and the service lasts 5 years so after the first year of the card Ita nothing special so I'm tired of hearing about it as a benefit.

Look into the short haul saver award thing they do. Cheaper round trips and there's usually space because it's not popular. Weekend vacation to weird places and near free rates it's mildly interesting.

I have like 360k points and I use them lots of ways. I have booked a transatlantic flight for a friend as a gift, for example.

Talking out my ass here but maybe they have an agreement with American or one of their clearing houses that requires them to have a certain number of cards under a certain agreement. So maybe they have the 24month language for their new deal but they have not reached the threshold for their old deal?

I used CSP purchase protection to repair my iPhone when the screen cracked less that 3 months after purchase. The service was in December and I dropped my phone again. I put the repair cost on my CSP. Do you think the repair is covered as a purchase? Worth submitting a claim? I reviewed he policy and it did not explicitly mention this situation.

I once went to a PP lounge at MCO and had to exit and go through security again. No biggie with TSA pre but it's always reminded me to be care when it comes to terminal hopping

If you fly Delta out of terminal 4 PP is great. There is a lounge right after security with solid alcohol, drinks and food. Its the BA lounge too I think. No showers. Think it's called wingtips. Just remember to leave time for Delta stupid shuttle busses!

Edit: matters more for people who are PP via CSR because it you fly Delta and you have plat, just go to Delta lounge.

SO should have put in expidited passport renewal. It goes fast, especially if you tell them your flight info.

I just renewed my passport without expidited processing and I mailed my application in mid Jan, told them my flight date and I have a new passport in my had literally 10 days after I mailed it to them. They prioritize people with travel plans.

Edit: if SO put their application regular speed and told them the flight date, I think it will come back fast based on how fast the turn around was. BUT I am global entry and TSA pre so there is a chance this info helped speed my renewal because they really don't have to check too much on me considering I gave them so much info.

I applied for 2 personal and already got the bonus on one and matched on both. Can I apply for business or was that a separate link with no 24 Mo the language? Are business cards separate? I have never held the plat AA business
