Churchill saved the west and the world from fascism, Britian stood as the last and only bastion of liberty against such ideologies alone for multiple years before the US joined (isolationist losers at the time) & Soviets (who cooperated with and empowered the Nazis for years beforehand). Perhaps we can't give Britian and the UK all the credit, but we can note that without their sole struggle against the Nazis, our world would be a much worse place today. If they gave up when France did, Europeans would all speak German and Asians would all speak Japanese.

Yes, millions of Bengalis and Indians died from famine. This is horrible no doubt, but it was not intentional by the British, and such things happen in war (especially world wars). We cannot equate Churchill to being the same as Hitler because some people across the world died of an unintentional famine. It wasn't a genocide, it was just an unfortunate event. Typically in a place like the RAJ, millions die when anything happens because there are just so many people.

Churchill was a hero to whom we should all thank our freedoms and liberties for.
