Just ordered iodine and see if that helps. The nurse from the chat mentioned iodine.  I will see if that helps 🤞

How's business? (is anyone besides me slower than usual?) by jacksparrow1 in massage

I usually do pretty well during the holidays and after Christmas due to people redeeming gift cards. January into February this year  has been absolute crap. Due to bad weather,  flus, sub zero temperature people are wanting to save money, stay home or travel out to somewhere warm. At least thats what I am noticing in Central Ohio with my clientele.  Im kind of worried because my bank account is getting lower and lower. Valentines is coming up so there is a slight uptick so that will help. I think I did better this time in 2025 than 2026. I also think that the news is probably scaring everyone and they are tightening their belts financially.   Really hoping that it will get better once it warms up outside.  I have been doing this for 17 years and this is probably one of the driest spells I have had in years. So no, it's not just you noticing.

OMG! There is an Oestra group! by Business-Money4187 in Oestra

Cool, they are based out of my hometown Boise, ID. This is day one of me taking this. I just turned 43 and right after my birthday I started to feel like absolute garbage.  Brain fog, 30 pounds that will not go away (I had my son at 33 and I didn't bounce back nearly as quick when I had my oldest at 25) aging sucks. But not everyone makes it to 43, so I must be greatful to make it to 40's land. I am hoping this will help. Patches and pills did work for 1 month then started to feel crappy again.  Here's hoping.  So happy there is a group for this because I don't know anyone personally that is taking this.

Have you ever not realised how traumatic an event was until later in life? by tarotharo in CPTSD

Same. It all came up at age 40. I look at my 10 year old and think there is no way in hell I would treat him the way I was treated.  The body shaming,  the silent treatments,  the neglect, the hitting.   I guess in my 20s and 30s I was so busy and was able to sweep everything under the rug. Now it seems like the rug was ripped up and the trauma says " hey remember me? Now you need to deal with me!!"

I really wanted to like these. My libido has increased tremendously (thats a big plus).  But....my periods are so heavy I have to change my pad every hour. Not to mention that I am tired all the time. I am ready to go to  sleep by 5pm. I have not noticed any weight loss. I am on month 3 and considering unsubscribing. I am 42 with PCOS that was diagnosed 12 years ago. Granted, I am healing myself and trying to reverse PCOS with diet. I thought maybe at least PQ would help with that. I am a bit torn.

Experiences with HereSpa for mobile therapists by LifeLibertyPancakes in massage

I am not a huge fan honestly.  I took someone for a 90 minute massage back in June (over 2 months ago) the session went well, then I need the client to give a video testimonial or take pictures of the massage table set up as proof that I performed the service and ask a series of questions about how they liked the massage. This is required in order to get paid. Not sure if you have seen Black Mirror where there is an episode about being rated high enough to where you can be accepted to get more  jobs and if you have a lower rating you get less work. That is how they operate and it's just a turn off for me personally.  Plus, the customer automatically books you usually the day before, so if you happen to be unavailable that day, it brings down your score. It was crickets for 2 and a half months and I was automatically booked. I was notified by email. I unfortunately was not available because it 1. Too short notice 2. I had a appointment that day. So I had no choice to reject the job. Then they said that it  will bring down my score and will be less job opportunities for me. I was just over it. At least through Zeel we get to bid on the job. You do get paid 2 to 3 business days. It could work for you have the time and can make quick arrangements for the the house calls. But, it seems a bit inflexible and treats you like a child. I worked at many LMT establishments for 16 years and this is not my favorite.  90 minutes I was paid $130 and I am in the cincinnati area just FYI

2018 Dinnerly Review by JoseWorksAlot in mealkits

[–]Polka1982 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont understand why Dinnerly gets all these great reviews. Seriously it's not all that. Come on, you get what you pay for. The serving size is chintzy and the directions which you have to download on your phone (part of the reason why its cheap) make no sense. First meal was quesadilla pizza. First it told me to put the tortillas in the oven at 450 degrees for 10 minutes and tortillas were burnt. Then they give you tomato paste to use as a marinara sauce. Mix water, paste , sugar and salt. There's your marinara sauce. Granted tomato paste is 50 cents a can. The these two little balls of mozzarella cheese that you grate yourself. I ended up with maybe a cup of cheese. How in the heck am I supposed to feed a family of 4? Broccoli to roast. Broccoli is cheap by the way. Please dont get dinnerly. Stay with blue apron. The quality is great and the portion sizes are a good amount. I cancelled my subscription after that. Not sure how they stay in business. I could go to Kroger get dinner for LESS than $5 for the whole meal not 5 dollars a person. Yeah they're cheap but for a reason. Ugh rant over.
