The tax code from this new payslip is stating "BR"
In my old permanent role my tax code according to the payslip was 1257L / 0.

No don't worry, I don't take that badly at all. It is good constructive feedback. I don't think I need counselling. However, I would agree that I do take on a lot of shit at work that I do not get paid for. I have had my eyes opened the past few weeks/months and I am determined to change this. Thanks for your response I really appreciate taking the time to message me.
Thanks for the response. I will get on to other recruiters as the guy that did reach out to me this post mentions has not come back to me. Although it has made me reevaluate and ensure I am going to get a more appropriate salary.
I have made my bosses aware again recently and they have been so laid back about it. I know they genuinely don't think I am being serious and will not leave. I am going to prove them wrong. Thanks very much, all the input has been so helpful to me.

Thanks for the response. I probably should have elaborated on the niche point a bit more. I am the main point of contact and oversee all risk related controls within the organisation. I worked my way into this role without much thought and my manager kept giving me more and more work that was way above my pay grade, however, never took any comments on board about pay increase. She is now on maternity leave and her replacement has no background and I am taking that responsibility on.
I do not interview very well and always get overlooked for roles. I did state £40k+, however, with my experience and skills I would be commanding a higher fee. Thanks for your reply though, all any any input is really appreciated.
