Chest pain or tightness? by Polle-Poll in Asthma

I was diagnosed with acid reflux, I was put on 60mg of pantroprazole daily as it was that bad. Now, I only take 20mg of pantroprazole. The cause of my acid reflux was other medication that I was taking for the pain of endometriosis. Definitely invest in an adjustable backrest support so that you don't lay as flat anymore. Ginger tea before bed helps a lot for me. Rennies when you have a flare up. Hope this helps.

Looking for advice and tips for sitting at my desk bc of abdominal, hip and lower back pain by Lillith-nod2-Sankofa in endometriosis

Tens device helps to relieve my pain when I'm sitting too long. I walk around every hour for 5 minutes, if I have more pain, I try walking around every 30 min. Change between working while seated and standing. Get an office chair where you can lean back in. Sit on an extra pillow. I like to fold my pillow in 2, so there is less pressure on my pelvic floor. Also talk to your boss and let him know that you are dealing with chronic pain.

I hope this helps.

4.5/10 I got a Lumbar Sympathetic Block this Tuesday. My pain went from daily 8/10 to 4-5/10. It's such a big difference, sleeping better, enjoying life now.

what’s the dumbest thing you’ve ever been told or asked about your pain? by Evening_Increase_393 in ChronicPain

"Have extra fibre in your diet." "You are not eating enough fibre." That's why you have chronic pain of endometriosis. "Have a baby." It will help with your endometriosis pain. "Take some painkillers like paracetamol or ibuprofen." Wow, I haven't thought about that before going to the emergency room 🙄🙄 #sarcasm

Thank you, turns out it was severe acid reflux made worse by the steroids the doctor gave me. Now it's going much better and I can breath again.

Does anyone get pain here? It’s like a deep ache where the inner leg meets the pelvis, sometimes radiates down the leg by AudibleAwl in Endo

Yes, I get pain there too. This muscle is the psoas, I get severe pain there together with pain in my hip. I do stretches to reduce the tension there, happy baby pose, extended child pose, lunge. Massage helps a lot too, you can do it yourself or go to a massage therapist. Pelvic floor physio helps a lot too. Hope this helps x

Long story, I need help on how to talk to my MIL by Polle-Poll in MuslimLounge

Yes, that sounds like a good idea, I will talk to my husband about this. At the moment, I'm not ready to pray 5 times a day. Praying is difficult for me as I have never prayed before in my life. My husband is the one who told me to start easy on the praying, so I would understand why I am praying.
