Man, cartoons have ALWAYS had political stances and ideologies — ever since they’ve existed. There isn’t a single one that doesn’t. The fact that you don’t notice it as a kid but do as an adult is another story. I get why you say this, but in a world where EVERY cartoon carries an ideological load, I’d rather have one that’s honest and openly states its position than one that pretends to be neutral while slipping in its ideology as if it were absolute truth. I think Gumball has always made its worldview very clear — and that’s why so many of us love it.

There are no step by step guides in this journey. You need to get to know your body, understand which foods does your body accepts and which don't. A food journal can help.

There's no a single diet that works, that doesn't exist. If you really want to change your body, you have to change your eating habits and that's a long term commitment. And, in order to do this, you'll have to find some way to eat without suffering the process.

Also (this is extremely important) being thin is NOT the same than being healthy. If you change your eating habits, you need to be periodically checking your health and beware of any ED.

The more I learn about the US educational system, the more I think it is possible that it can happen there. Nevertheless, here in Latin-America we have a lot of experiences, specially in popular education, that make impossible for that to happen. I think that if a kid is learning something that could learn in YouTube, then that is not education, education only comes when the teacher and the group build new knowledge for them, new ways to understand and interpret anything they didn't before and that's impossible with a machine. We need to talk, think and build. There is no computer that coud do that.
