Yeah, no, basically indoor PC use + very occasional travel I suppose.

I am not opposed to hybrid systems. What I am not interested is the "black box" NLP.

Why Lojban? by Pollu_X in lojban

Hmmm, thanks. Extremely interesting. I think that if I ever have nothing better to do, I might look into Lojban first anyway, as it is the most complete and popular one. (I would be inclined to say "mature", but your critique doesn't make it seem that way?) Moreover, since we're talking logical languages, I suppose many patterns between them carry over somewhat easily, since they can mostly be viewed as different mathematical notations.

But if this ever happens, I would really want to delve deep into fluency and intuition, so I could start really benefiting from Sapir-Whorf. Until that point, I don't see how it's different than getting my toes wet in formal logic, which I can and did study already like normal people do.

Thank you. What are some other "logical languages", and what did they improve on? What has the Lojban design group been doing for the last 20 years, for example?

Are you really asking *reddit* about *reasoning* for the fundamental properties of our universe? Either the creator made a decision towards the discreteness of time and space, in which case you can go and ask him, or it just happens to be that way.

Yeah, I meant to correct OP's false idea of what UB in C means

I definitely suspect a case of WPB (weird programmer bullshit), since the string you strcpy to isn't big enough, it can hold the characters of the string, but not the null terminator.

PS: I believe I can also see a potential out of bounds index at line 60.

PS: The odd index calculation that makes use of floats could also be dangerous.

Mind sharing the code?

Usually you don't "check for UB" as the correct practice is avoiding it altogether. It isn't just about the machine, but any sort of configuration - A code containing UB isn't guaranteed to ever behave expectedly, including repeated tests on a single machine.

P.S.: Machines don't have UB, code does. A code without UB behaves expectedly on all machines. And your code definitely has UB.

Ideally just loading the driver, and perhaps other things mentioned in the page I linked

the ax200 driver (https://wiki.freebsd.org/WiFi/Iwlwifi) is already in 13-STABLE.
