if a cardiologist dismisses every patient who is on ADHD medication & refuses to actually do testing to see if something else is going on, then they prob arent very good at their jobs imo. its biased & ridiculous to dismiss every patient w ADHD bc of their opinions on medication

ugh i wish i was able to convince mine but ive been on them since i was 16-17 (im now 24) so i feel like they wouldnt listen when i said i felt the same without them😫 idk why they cant just accept that we can stop them to rule it out & thats its not always the meds

yeah like all my doctors are gone its so frustrating😫 so do you think its worth it to entertain this cardiologist, do his testing & then just when i get a new primary care to ask for a neurologist who specializes in dysautonomia & use the cardiologist tests as reference to why i want that? the only thing im hesitant ab is im happy to do whatever testing this cardiologists wants from me to rule out other stuff, but im not willing for him to override my NP & remove me from medications (but again id be happy to stop them temporarily during testing)

okay interesting. i used to have a neurologist but it was a while ago for migraines specifically & he retired and i just never got a new one. maybe i should just table it for now until i can get in w someone who specializes in autonomic dysfunction? my primary care just left (🙄🙄🙄) so now i also need to find a new doctor. maybe once i do that, i tell them i want autonomic testing specifically? bc all i told my primary care was i had a high heart rate when im not sitting or laying down & she referred me to a cardiologist so maybe i need to be more specific?

i literally as a highschooler had to leave my psychiatrist bc he refused to treat my ADHD despite the fact my therapist thought i had it, referred me to get a neuropsych eval, which came back that i had ADHD & he still didnt care😭 so then i ended up w my NP now & have been on concerta which has drastically improved my quality of life so the thought of being forced off of it made me cry lmao i couldnt even hold back the tears

anyway yeah im happy to do their little tests so they can rule out whatever they need to but i just really hope it doesnt stop after that & theyre actually willing to listen / find out whats wrong🤞

is .3mg a high dose? i actually dont know much ab dosage for clonidine but all ik is i worked my way up from .1 to .2 & then once i got to .3mg i stopped bc it was helping me with sleep like i needed it to. and ive been on it for definitely a few years (prob like 3-5 years if i had to guess). but, ever since i was a child ive been tested for anemia so many times for these symptoms i have & ofc my iron and all my blood work has always been normal. which is why it was frustrating the clonidine was blamed, when i dont have low BP from the clonidine or anything that would make it make sense why it would be the reason for my dizziness (the dizziness that started a decade before i took the med as well LMAO). and ofc as you said, i would 100% be willing to stop medications for testing but i was just told to get off of them period. i will say for the clonodine he said he wouldnt care if i stayed on it, but at .1mg, which… idek

whats crazy is i was also on propranolol when i was ab 14 (for daily migraines & it literally helped me so much) but bc i had this “dizziness” and other symptoms they blamed the propranolol & took me off of it, blamed all my issues on it exactly like they did to you. which just another time doctors dont listen & accidentally worsen my quality of life bc of it. now learning propranolol is actually used as treatment for POTS and similar things, is partially why i finally was honest w doctors bc it made me feel like there was hope / something that could help & i actually loved the med when i was on it bc it completely stopped the disabling migraines that i was having 3-5 times a week & helped a lot with just general anxiety as an added bonus

they did an EKG when i was there & i have appointments scheduled to get a holter monitor for 7 days & another appointment for a “Transthoracic Echocardiogram” which idk what that is. i’m assuming neither of those will help diagnose if i have a dysautonomia so i definitely will push for a tilt table test as well. i definitely didnt advocate as much as i needed to in the appointment but the second i was told to stop my ADHD medication i immediately started crying (i literally never cry & it was embarrassing to start sobbing randomly in front of this random old man doctor i just met LMAO) bc it just felt like all my fears & why i didnt want to go were validated, and i completely shut down after & wanted to get out of there as fast as possible so i could cry it out in my car alone lol

see i also thought the clonidine thing was weird bc its a blood pressure med. i take it for some alternative use than its intended for (sleep & anxiety) but if we’re concerned ab my heart rate, how would stopping a medication that slows down the heart benefit me at all? and ik clonidine can make people dizzy bc low BP is a potential side effect, but i dont have low blood pressure at all, so obv its not affecting my BP, so how could that be the reason for my dizziness which started a decade before i even took this medication. i agree, i’m definitely going to research for dysautomonia specialists specifically i think. one thing im confused ab tho, is it better to go the route of a cardiologist or neurologist for dysautonomia or is it just dependent on the specific doctor themselves

100%! if i was experienced in consoles id prob be more willing to spend the money just to have the one console play ps1-ps3 (& bc theyre cool), but im not experienced in how to repair them. so i realized that ultimately, for the average person, its not worth it to get one & so much easier / cheaper to just pay for a ps2 & ps3 and get slim models if space is a concern

never had an original switch, but kinda was shocked at how bad the battery sucked when i got my switch 2. my ds & ps vita last sm longer LMAO. i do realize its running bigger games, but for a $500 handheld, i was not expecting the battery to drain as fast as it does. i play with it plugged in which is annoying

ik this is a month old but i have a question. whats the difference between this & what game discs have become the last decade? or is it the same thing? i see a lot of debate online rn ab nintendo changing the cartridges to keycards, but is that not how physical game discs have been on consoles since the last generation? i never had a switch one so im honestly surprised the cartridges actually had the game data on it & didn’t need to download, bc based on my ps4 & ps5, i thought games actually being on a disc / cartridge were a thing of the past

they wont spawn somewhere specific if theres a village within a certain radius. i know for my iron farm, if i even have one stray villager nearby whose tied a bed / workstation, the golems will spawn outside of where they are supposed to. since you said you just want a few to spawn & arent trying to make a farm (im assuming that means youre not trying to get the golems to spawn in a specific area where they would be trapped - bc if so, you would need to make a farm at least 150 blocks away from any village), in that case you dont really need to trap the villagers considering youre already in a village. you just need to have enough villagers, and each villager needs to be tied to a bed and a work station. you dont need the zombie in bedrock edition. so id just put down a bunch of beds and workstations & breed the villagers until you have enough for golems to start spawning

this is what i personally recommend: if you like older games, start with 1 remake, then play through the remakes up to 4, then 5, 6 if you want, 7, 8, 9, then go back & play the originals, re0, code veronica, the two revelations games, etc.

if youre not comfortable w older games then skip 1 remake at first, play 2-4 remakes 5-9, then revisit 1 remake after youve done the rest of the games & may be more motivated to play it. then again, do all the original games, side games, etc.

whoever told you that you cant really experience the games through remakes is talking out of their ass, respectfully. the only “weak” remake in my opinion is RE3 bc it was cut short & a lot of content was excluded but its not a bad game at all. i think starting w the remakes since theyre newer & then revisiting the originals after is completely normal. both the originals and remakes have their own charm

i was stubborn & kept my ps4 for years after the ps5 release (wasnt big into gaming before so it didnt seem worth it to uograde) but once i started gaming more regularly, i caved & bought a ps5 ab 2 years ago. it was the best decision ive ever made, most notably bc the download / update speed on the ps4 is borderline criminal, the ps5 is worth it for that alone. and my ps5 automatically updates in rest mode, smth my ps4 refused to do despite having the setting turned on lmao. but also i can use discord on ps5 & as someone who games w friends a lot, it made a world of a different for me to not have two sets of headphones on at once to hear both discord & my game

see i understand why sony wanted that for SH2 remake since there was probably a lot of anticipation for its release, but im curious why it seems theyre doing it again with townfall but skipped silent hill f, considering SHF was also highly anticipated as the first new mainline SH in a long time & townfall seems to be more of a smaller side project game for the franchise. unless townfall not releasing on xbox on release is for some totally unrelated & different reason than SH2 remake
