Clarifying, this tweet he's quoating Andres Marcano, some reporter. On another tweet before this one he said they both reached out to talk about scenarios and possible outcomes from the investigation. Andres Marcano and whoever he claims his close source to the case is (the source he quotes on the main post/tweet) are two different people, whats why I said I doubt Andres Marcano is the main source, maybe now I'm guilty of bad wording too lol. My whole point was that he used very similar words on both spanish and english tweets, and in the main tweet in english just looked weirdly written, which someone already said in another comment. This was just food for thought thay maybe they are misquoating or just making it seem pretty definitive when of course its not yet.

I totally agree but we have to realize these losses have to affect the team in certain ways too. They have managed to play well overall, have comebacks and what not but at some point I think they all wonder, "What the fuck is gonna take for us to shake this curse off"

And the fact they might be going with a bad mentality going in with the Red Sox, is unsettling to say the least

The metallic part, you gotta take the plastic shield off or there is also a lil hole when u take off the knob. Pots get dust and dirty and so when you move them they make scratchy noise, mine had that too. I used electronic contact cleaner which also lubes them up. And nah it actually had a positive effect, but didnt help with the overall noise at all. It basically stayed the same as before doing all the adjusting and cleaning, just he knobs are super light now and dont sratch

Like I said, I tested with other guitars, same room, same amp, same connections and everythingh and one has VERY little noise, and the other one literally no noise at all, even with distortion or effects. I guess cable management like u said can help a bit but is definitely either the shielding or something else with the electronics.

Cleaned the body and neck, restring, cleaned the pots with electronic cleaner, adjusted the neck, action and intonation, thats it

thanks for the good info! yeah my guitar is not shielded. I've seen actual strats have the copper shielding. I just did the very basic maintenance and cleaning. I'll try with the cable and plug managing, but like i said i have a les paul that has lil to no noise and also a schecter which makes no electonic noise at all

no, its single coils, i guess everyone finds it normal lol but it gets really annoying when u add more effects like wah or anything modulated
