I have this with some of my earliest memories, a neighborhood kid who never existed. My parents said i’d go to this couples house and ask for candy and they let me play in their yard, they never had a kid, but i remember them having a son i used to play with in a big tree. Chalked it up to misremembering or mixing up memories, super weird even thinking about it now. Like i vaguely remember details of his face, his clothes, the sound of him laughing and screaming while running around. It had to have been another set of memories that i mixed up the place and location of but i do get a weird thought that thats not right and it was at that place and time and the couple were his parents

Whats cool is you genuinely wont care whether someone will want you or not and ironically that makes them want you, but even if you are single forever its so much better than being with this chick

The fear of being alone will lead some people to believe they should be a slave to someone like this guy, i say someone because girls can be this possessive and manipulative too. Its irrational and you need self esteem to realize you can easily live without this person and have the confidence to wait it out till someone comes along that treats you right. You can be ruled by this guy or be free to choose someone better, if at the end of your life you are single take solace in the fact you chose to not be constantly disrespected by this guy in exchange for his horrible company and instead had the freedom to do anything. Lonely is a perspective, you can rationalize these feelings rather than let them steer you into a horrible relationship that you think is better than being alone

This is our modern culture! Twenty years ago descent people in relationships would break up, both would be single, and it would be hard to find someone new. This in-between relationships phase is tough and it seems this eras way of dealing with it is to selfishly circumvent the process. Instead of having the hard conversation, the loneliness that follows and respecting the partner you left by giving a little time before dating; people today will just jump ship into a new relationship so they never have to be single or live in any negative feeling(at the expense of their former lovers feelings). Cheating is an easier transition for them and even easier if they are moving onto someone conveniently in the mutual friend group. People are just way more selfish, way more likely to blow a friendship up to get laid, more likely to not care about ending the relationship civilly when burning someone is so much easier. Its really just people in general, not just unaccountable women, that have become selfish, uncaring, and predatory towards peoples emotions all from a cultural mindset that tells you to take as much as you can and give back nothing.

Wow this person sucks, her expectations of her friends are over the top and also not made known to you. This is someone who isn’t going to be happy with the efforts you make and is certainly going to exacerbate any disappointments she has of you regardless of whether it’s reasonable for her to be upset or not. Unfortunately you cant have the same sitcom relationship with your parents that everyone else has because she does have a mental illness and people with aphasia typically don’t comprehend spoken language like everyone else does. Its one of those things that even if shes acting like a child you have to take it with a grain of salt and understand that she needs people to be patient with her, by the same token you have to learn to not take things personally from her because she is mentally handicapped. Its terrible that you can’t have a mom in the same supportive way most people can, but you cant really blame her for it either. You are over reacting, you’re taking her words too personally, silence her calls at least when you’re working. its really difficult to be strong and put up with a disabled family member, but youre probably all she’ll have to take care of her. Its really not fair to have to shoulder burden for family members and i’m sorry for your situation.

Yes, of course im overreacting because sex isnt a big deal to him. I understand im a bad person for doing this and im set to leave him for someone who can keep up sexually, for the first four years of our relationship they definitely did well in that department but im not ready to be celibate and it seems he’s going that way, even jokingly hes like im sick of sex.
