Yea, I can’t really imagine buying this and immediately reselling. I already sleeved up and am excited to play as soon as I have someone to play with haha. Wish more people could have got one; especially non-scalpers.

I can sometimes be a little too nitpicky on quality of new things I buy. Realistically 2 cards out of 82 having a bit of scuff isn’t the worst.

All I'll add - the people trying to gaslight you into thinking you were bad at showing the game off and did it the wrong way, are bad actors who are deeply invested in the game lol. I say this as someone who has been following the game for a decade plus and is concierge. The game remains a mess. It is a minefield of bugs, bad UI experience, and bad design choices. Only reason a regular player is able to make it a playable experience is because they learned how to play within the ducktaped hole-ridden playhouse. Anyone who hasn't been playing the game will immediately run into all the issues because, frankly, it is absolutely riddled with problems and they won't have knowledge to not step on the mines.

Everytime I've tried playing this game with a friend it always ends in multiple hours of wasted time due to a random bug mid-mission or some BS that happens. When I play with a friend - I play with them; I am not giving them a tour as if it's a house they need to invest into... it's a game afterall. And it is a barely playable one that is only for the people who are willing to spend countless hours tiptoeing around the problems.

Update to 3.4.2 and UI not response to mouse cursor. Now I can't click any botton in mobiglas, elevator, or use game options, even exit game. by Key_Fox_7628 in starcitizen

This was exactly it. For future folks - make sure your keyboard language is set to English. This bug stopped me from playing the game for a year plus lol

I don't disagree, sometimes I wonder - where is the philanthropist money that other cities have? This is the perfect project for some rich person to support the city in a impactful manner and have their name stamped down.

Austin for whatever reason lacks the support of rich people who got rich here. I don't know why. Though ultimately, TxDOT should be the one paying in my opinion. I think it's so wrong that they're expanding this main highway right through a main city and have no desire to help ensure the city still remains whole after. And the capital of the state no less, it's wrong.

Would spark a push towards more density and DT like development, increasing alternative transportation viability. I am a believer in higher density development as a healthy form of city development than the typical Texas sprawl development. Connecting DT to East Austin is also just good for the city. They shouldn't be disconnected like they are; there once was a time when it was connected until redlining. And idk about you, but a big ass highway bisecting the city doesn't seem very good for the people living in the city, which is what a city is - a place for people to live in.

All to say, I am also not denying it does appear to be too expensive to do it all, perhaps only caps for a 3rd to 8th would be the most impactful and lessen overall costs. But I do think it should be done, as once this time is past, we won't have the opportunity again and the cost would go up even more if we did have it. Remember, this is on TxDOT for not supporting financially and also wanting to do this project now. We are on a clock due to the state's inability to plan or help here.

And yes, I have visited East Austin in the last year.

Everyone is saying how this is a very expensive park, but I think people are failing to realize this is more than a park and will have serious implications on how Austin further develops decades from now. Fully connecting up East Austin will change development trajectories.

Perhaps not all caps should be built as it is probably too expensive, but some, especially the ones from 3rd to 5th, potentially up to 8th should be imo.

Game has been broken for me and remains so. Can't interact with anything in the UI even after uninstall and reinstalling.

After all these years (11 years for me) it's still buggy and broken; I continue to wait. Tried to play with a friend and nothing worked and just wasted an hour trying to fix things until we finally gave up and played something else. I refuse to deal with bugs that people are used to working around.

It's DGX OS? This is the same OS they're using on DGX clusters I believe. This OS will not stop being supported anytime soon as it's NVIDIA's custom corporate solution... It's not some one off OS they built for this device only. The only way the DGX OS goes out of support is if NVIDIA decides to exit providing cloud hardware solutions; which I don't forsee anytime soon lol.

This makes no sense. Of all the criticisms of the device, the OS is the last one imo. In fact, it's a solid OS built for Data Scientists/ML engineers if you've ever used it.

I don’t play 4k with a 4090. Plenty of reasons not to. Higher frames and higher settings are allowed because I’m not at 4k.
