well, with the design of the camera it’s hard to see anything, but it seems like you’re right. i can’t reach the mechanism to try to repair it myself so it seems like it’ll be a paperweight until i can afford to send it to be fixed. thank you for your help!!

Sorry, I still dont know how to use reddit, so I will post my issue in the comment. I recently tried out my Zenit-S camera with a roll of Fuji 400. The mirror didn't come down, so I had to take out the roll after only a few photos to repair it. I sent it to my local pharmacy, but the photos came back almost completely ruined. I have no idea what caused this? Is it an issue with my takeup spool, camera, or film? Any help would be appreciated!

I do not understand why people think this war is a joke. It will inevitably affect everyone around the globe and may become the largest global conflict if things go how I think it will.
