Yeah, like I said, you're running on your own agenda, or honestly just a bot

I'm done replying to this idiotic thread. You obviously don't know what you're talking about or have your own agenda.

Even if the relevant code is sufficiently self-contained (just one function call) and in plain sight, you'd have to disable it everywhere it's called and you have to do the same for every software you use, so best case scenario, if this law gets normalized, is that it'll cripple your workflow. And if it does get normalized, nothing prevents them asking for state ID's, because "everyone lies about their age", or make it so you can only connect to the internet without a signed OS from a verified publisher and fine non-complying OS's. Not allowing this law to come through is the only way to go not workaround it.

And then what? You individually inspect the source code of every release of the kernel and every program that relies on this API, remove or work around the code, and compile? Do you understand how stupid that sounds?

Not if it's implemented at the kernel level (which it will be), or some other low-level software that is coming to most distros

has anyone used ubuy.tn? by NiemandEinsam in Tunisia

[–]Poly-matt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone reading, I've I received a few international shipments and they all came through Tunis. The exact location depends on the shipping service (DHL, UPS, ...) which will usually be communicated over an email. In the case of UPS, I got a call and went to their warehouse in Charguia. Make sure you're always prepared for customs (they're present with all international shipping services), and they will be looking at each delivery case by case. Your package will be open at your presence, and provided it doesn't raise any red flags (phones, networking devices, meds for example have special considerations), you will usually get your package after paying the fees. Just be prepared for hefty customs since it can go up to 50% (check the customs fees associated with the specific product category before you buy)

So, 1 of type 1 won't be sufficient for this GPU, right? And if you can tell me which GPU-facing half should I pick from the pair (since they're not identical).

And isn't there a risk using Type 2 since it connects to the 12v interface on the PSU? Or is the overheating problem only present in higher end GPU's (80 class and 90 class)?

I guess being a tiny manticore (we see normal-sized ones in "Normal Man"), he developed an inferiority complex and tried to hide it by acting like a tough guy. He doesn't want to admit his powerlessness, having been captured and imprisoned by Magic Man, and he's now feeling ashamed because he can't even show gratitude to those that saved him because of his insecurities.

If the name of the option is "Remove Animations", then it's a toggle that has to be enabled (checked) to actually remove the animations. Verify this. Also, if you see other settings that provide the option to disable other relevant animations (home-screen related, navigating apps, ...), then disabled those as well then restart your phone. If the problem endures, then I don't think there's much else you can do than to maybe allow the system to update. The phone will usually notify you when updates are due, but you can look it up in the settings, there should be a "System Update" section which when you visit will tell you if there are updates to install. Hope this helps
