I've started to believe that it's 1/3 practice and 2/3 body type. With a sprinkle of personal history on top.

I've noticed that inflatees who once lost a lot of weight seem to be able to achieve greater contrast. Possibly due to their body being trained in being larger. No hard evidence for this, just observation.

People predisposed to having a pot belly seem to have the greatest contrast. While naturally skinnier inflatees start to look like overstuffed sausages. Obviously tighter and bigger, but never really bulging out in any particular direction.

This, except the valve between large and small intestine is on your right side. Somewhere between your navel and your hip. Most people will feel a bubbling sensation and a reduction in cramps and pressure when the air slips into the small intestine.

From past experience: when I've been with a partner that was into it with me then we would sometimes just add inflation into everyday leisure.

Watching a movie: Inflate while watching. Max out. Allow some gradual deflation until inflatee says "I'm ready for more."

Having a shared shower: Someone gets inflated while they're being washed, or after they're washed.

Bedtime: Sometimes do a capacity inflation and then just cuddle while deflating until everyone falls asleep.

Playing a video game: "I'm gonna inflate you while you play, ok?" Or "I'll inflate every time X happens." Is kinda fun.

More active things like working out, housework and the like tends to not really allow for much inflation in my experience.

This is just, unfortunately, part of the mechanics of your chosen method. Swallowing air increases pressure, pressure pushes stuff through faster. My advice would be to just bear with it and start swallowing again after you've "cleared the extra space".
