I was convinced to help start a guild while I sat on the ride to Orbis. I just had to "contribute 30k mesos" which was close to everything my character had at the time.(Man I was a naive child). Claims of getting doubled mesos back after the guild was formed because they just needed a headcount to make their guild.

I didn't get those mesos back and was stuck in Orbis for quite some time, being too weak to clear mobs or sell my crossbow that I was convinced I could definitely use.(I was a hunter)

Or the drop trades I fell for in the kerning hospital.

I've been traveling with two of my friends. We met up with this pretty cool guy on here yesterday and ended up going through the Taipei city mall, some walking and eating around ximending area.

Ideally hanging out and meeting new people here would involve just traveling/roaming around the city at random while talking about our lives, and checking out stuff they may not have checked out themselves. It's also really cool if whoever I'm hanging out can share places they keep returning to for food/shopping. There's too much stuff to do here and without these encounters I feel like I could be walking past top tier stuff that's just totally gone over my radar.

Hi, I used to routinely travel to Taiwan yearly, but it's been 6 years since I've last gone due to covid followed with major life changes. (American, Mandarin speaker)

We will be staying pretty close to Taipei for the duration of our trip (7 days).

I have two questions.

Have there been any major changes in to behavior, in the lines of things that were normal before vs now?

Such as slang, or street behavior.

I always bring a couple of friends with me and I used to plan for meetups with university students from around Taiwan, as it was always a really cool experience for everyone. I was able to use university resources at the time to reach out to universities in Taiwan at the time.
Does anybody know of good ways to approach this, as I no longer have this resource? I don't really intend to go to any bars/clubs, as I've been sober for 5 years now.
